Being a fan of anime, I agree that it feels badass. Not so sure I would have felt same before I started liking anime.
There are imperfections if you notice carefully especially when they get out of the carriage.
I love playing and watching stuff in their original languages but after watching so much anime, a Japanese track will make a second playthrough fresh.

Then the only real difference is what machine the developer is going to favor.
Sony did well, they didn't bother creating a two headed monster like PS3. Instead PS4 is affordable, easy to develop for and is absolutely going to get great games throughout its generation.
