I was wrong about 2 DVDs meaning 360 and PC, instead of 2 disks each. PS3 has the upper hand here. But if you read 1up interview, Carmack said "With this game and this engine, we have one set of data assets (textures and such). You're able to see right away if, for example, if the damn PS3 version isn't working [Carmack and other members of id continue to gripe about the wasted RAM overhead involved with a PS3 game].". So I guess id is not going to play favorites with consoles.

hmm interesting blooper, the gameplay video Crytek put in this trailer has incorrect aspect ratio, it was originally 4:3, no wonder everything looked wierd. But I am shocked at the similarity between this trailer and Turok. I guess EA sucks at ads.

no there are only 16 demos of real games, not talking about arcade like games here. Anyways kudos to Sony for giving more demos than usual. Hopefully more and more come.

The real reason I can't get excited about Haze is that they have given the main story away already, its like playing Halo 1 while knowing that those rings are supposed to destroy all sentient life in the galaxy(maybe you knew it and thats why it wasn't that exciting to you). The only reason to play it now is to know how it ends and that sucks badly. Look at Halo previews, there is still a lot of motivation to play single player even after knowing the bizarre news that Master Chief may end up ...
if Mass Effect was developed with id Tech 5, it would have looked better than even the amazing it is now. I am sure folks at Bioware can totally exploit id stuff, besides Carmack's code is supposed to one of the cleanest.
I said Rage looked like CG, Crysis was so realistic when the first trailer was released in comparison what was there then. Killzone looks great and it looks close to CG too, not exactly realistic either except for the nice blood.

I was a little disappointed when I started but towards the end things started picking pace only to go straight down the cliff in the end, gameplay was always fun
lmao id making an exclusive for PS3 after what Carmack said, besides he no longer harbors the same opinion about DirectX as he used to. If its coming to PS3, its coming to 360, id is in for the money. I will get the PC version.
