I think they are going to make sure all versions are running thru out the developement process as they intend to release to all of them. So if 360 or PS3 version has a little problem and they have to cut, it might affect all the platforms.
I hope MS gave these hotties a good 360 each with Bioshock

wow I am now impressed totally, more than the trailer could ever impress me. Carmack is great at explaining stuff, should be a university professor. And I hope there is 3rd part of these videos where he demonstrates the engine.

so this article got the comments because of the console tension. Anyways to put things in perspective: Carmack said PS3 is a better to develop for than PS2. Its just his opinion that he doesn't like SPUs too much("PS3 has more power but not as smart") and Sony taking 96MB for system and have separate memory for CPU and GPU. As time passes, the PS3 will have an edge thanks to Blu ray but its not all black and white out there as to who is the best, Sony made great reliable hardware wh...

KingJFS, thanks for what I wanted to say a lot better, its like everybody is betting their lives on which console wins. id is not playing console favorites at all, infact according to Carmack, if the PS3 is going to require lowering of things because of framerate issues its going to affect other versions.
