those comparison shots are a little lame if you ask me, and still Crysis is much better and realistic besides remember on we will run it and for that matter UT3 at higher resolutions than PS3 or 360.

this was already mentioned in the 1up and GameInformer interviews with Carmack but I think it deserves a post of its own. Never been really into handheld gaming but I now have reasons to get a DS: Bioware's Sonic RPG and Carmack's Orcs and Elves and maybe Itagaki's Ninja Gaiden.
yeah that is one of the best reasons for a PS3 this year, besides you can get the old ones dirt cheap in ebay if you haven't played them already, they still pack a lot of fun.

to quote Carmack roughly "PS3 has theoretically more power but is less smart", so its yeah its processor is a rockstar(they dont have too much iq) I guess. This generation is going to be about games, new ips, old ips with new innovation and more games. A little hardware reliability and more disk capacity won't hurt.
