Where is fudge is FFXIII Versus? Is it going to be the Duke Nukem Forever of PS3?
It would be lame if the next supposed big PS3 exclusive is actually just a console exclusive. I don't think so.
And no way in hell, HL3 is not coming to PC. There is this wildly successful thing called Steam that makes Valve the exact opposite of Ubisoft. Gabe would make crispy Chicken Fry from flying Greek gods before this can happen.
So its not about HL3. It has to be about a genuine PS3 exclusive.
and along with that people should stop playing games they bought, that way they can be free to use those precious clicks to buy more games and more copies on their iPhone, Google Nexus, Kindle Fire, Nook etc. The companies will have widerest success.
Just imagine a gamer using the same amount of clicks on Amazon instead of a Counter Strike game, by the end of the hour his bill would many times his annual salary and we can all happily laugh and dance to the nearest bank.
I half expect that when you stuff KB's turkey with a PS3 game, it will start loading it on the nearest TV.
I don't know any other commercial game from another company with its source code GPL'ed. So this is great. For people who want to make games, they get a fully working model to study from.

I don't know why people get all queasy when it comes to killing virtual children in some game as if its going to damage the brain more than killing virtual adults.
If you feel so strongly about virtual non existent kids then why not do something more for the real life and blood kids in the world.
If they ever die, they are gone for good and will never respawn.

Head Start really means nothing when you take into account the Dreamcast and RROD. And people tend to forget the PS2 was also used to drive up DVD adoption.
I can't believe that it took this long for Sony to catch up. The key reason for this is Advertising(and initially pricing). Sony really dropped the ball this time.
PS3 is a success on it sown but as a next Playstation after PS2, I don't think so.
And I hope Sony reuses Cell for PS...
Every time I see this game's trailers, I get the feeling if I open the box I would sucked inside its world like in Jumanji.
Gears of War confirmed for the PS3. You get to play as Kratos or maybe Ratchet(A chainsaw machine gun is about the only thing missing from his arsenal).

My own take on it without even reading the article: id just released id tech 5 which was designed very much with this generation in mind. If a new console comes that leaps over the current gen like PS3 over PS2, then they lose(just see how RAGE does on high end PCs).
It would be awesome if they have Vinewood parties with all kinds of look alike NPCs. I would love to blow up one.
