That was baseless paranoia and nothing more.
@Woolly_
And Ubisoft found a way to stuff Microtransactions into this Single Player game again.
The industry is becoming so obsessed with these things that they're going to try to shoehorn them into everything.
Know what else has grown proportionate to that?
The devs making stupid business decisions.
So like every other forum.
The only options are Male, Female, or Unspecified. Unspecified means you want complete anonymity, not that you "reject the binary" or whatever.
Talking race with a known racist, this should be productive.
SSO was a decent game that didn't get marketed near as heavily as it should have that this greedy-ass company screwed the developer on when they signed the publishing deal.
The problem isn't SP games, it's in MS itself and the culture they've created in their company and their user base.
So this dev has never used a high-end PC, I see.
Also, why am I supposed to be surprised that a guy who has an exclusivity deal with MS is fluffing their console?
No. They don't take anywhere near 30%. And the publishers literally take ALL of the cut. Dev teams are paid a flat amount.
I love how good ol' moldy can't resist leaping to massive conclusions to try to defend the company whose console he doesn't own.
Again.
...it's literally simple. You make a game, it's good, it sells.
You don't need damn algorithms to try to find the right players to target to milk for more purhases!
You don't need "dynamic pricing".
The "complicated economics" lies in the Microtransaction Mess that is GaaS.
They went to all the effort of hiring writers to pour over canon Star Wars material and correspond with the author of a novel about the character their SP is centered around... out of laziness?
This is the same guy who said Andromeda failed because of white people tho, so... grain of salt.
The very fact that this website cited Vice turning to a man with a tweet history such as his to ask "what went wrong" should solidify what garbage it is.
He's race-obsessed TRASH.
lmao no they don't
you gotta pay. Usually around $20-$30.
EA mandated Microtransactions and more of a TPS element in Dead Space 3. EA put Visceral to work on Hardline (which I actually really liked the campaign of).
EA makes those calls.
The woman damn near ruined Uncharted because she was being reactionary to some of the dumbest criticisms possible of the game,
Microsoft owns GOG and Steam, do they?
Because they don't get squat for a game just running on Windows.
You're arguing visuals, not smoothness or gameplay.
Horizon has the better visuals, but that's to be expected with a much higher budget. And the framerate is pretty stable, so the disparity isn't quite as severe in that regard. 60fps would be ideal though.
They never "keep it on the DL to placate Sony". They just didn't comment on features that would have to be implemented post-launch via patch as opposed to being bundled in natively. Same reason Bungie said they couldn't confirm a resolution on the One X; they hadn't gotten a final build for it yet.
