Stuff like this is why Xbox fans get so much grief these days. Y'all trip over yourselves to defend literally everything they do to you, then scratch your heads in confusion about why things aren't getting better.
Doing that is essentially going full digital and that's gonna lead to consumer backlash. They're not gonna lock the entire game behind a Day 1 patch. Plus not every emulated game is pirated. Lotta folks just rip their copies off the disc or console HDD (especially for patch data) onto their PC HDD and play that way, and that's completely legal.
This thing's a long ways off from being able to run a single game yet anyways, so idk why everyone's trying to ...
They-uh... they can't patch your PC, broski.
It's a PC emulator, not a hacked console.
By your logic, no one should ever see a movie more than once. Or read a book more than once. See an episode of a TV show more than once. Ever. Media is inherently flawed unless it is forever evolving, after which it must cease to be entertaining.
Come on dude, you know better than this.
Bro, this is you rn.

You mean like Cory Barlog, who directed GoW 2 and a good bit of 3 as well?
And yet, every single one of those games I've played more than once.
Because golly gee, it turns out people like to experience a good story more than once, who knew?
(Spoiler: Literally everyone who's been gaming since the SNES days)
At a price point of $60 and YEARS of Dev time? No, it's not.
So. Sid Meier's Pirates is still Best Pirate Game. Got it.
Fanboy salt. I think once a comment gets enough flags, it gets marked by default to be safe and then potentially moderated later.
That or the mods are cracking down hard on literally anything they think might spark conflict, idk.
Hey. NMS had more ships, actual progression, and a "goal", of sorts, to work for. Still more going on than this game.
The Division didn't sell on quality, it sold on the Tom Clancy name. Took that game almost a year to get decent, according to most.
Because Miyamoto was a jealous ass who was always frequently dissing them?
And yet, his concerns and complaints are mirrored by many others, almost exactly.
Hey, NMS actually fixed itself. And at least had progression and a goal to work toward.
I was thinking more of like when you're re-visiting past areas but yeah, that too.
...beg pardon?
About the only things I can think of are turn-based RPGs.
Kratos was never black. His voice actor was, and still is, but he's not.
@WilliamSheridan
Yeah, there totally needs to be a penalty for dying in a game where people swarm ports waiting to grief people trying to complete quests.
