Why are you so hung up on Sony striking a marketing deal that got them an exclusive alpha and a few items for a while?
That's because Peter Moore wanted revenge for the Dreamcast, which he blamed the PS2 for killing, and Xbox wanted payback for the first Xbox not being well-recieved.
Xbox at the time was literally in the market to kill (or at least cripple) PlayStation.
Wind Waker HD, son.
SSO didn't quite sell a million, sadly.
At least, that was the last number I saw, and that was last year.
We get it, you're mad because they didn't try to swing all full-on anti-gun or depict all religious folk as murderously insane..
Neither can resist letting you know they do it.
*"Predicts Analyst"
Potheads are as bad as Vegans, I swear.
That reach.
Reed Richards jealous now.
The worst thing about that review is the reviewer in question felt the need to gleefully announce she was going to "piss off the PS4 Fanboys" upon finishing it.
Same song and dance as always, Death? Get mad and have a tantrum when people say MS is underperforming, ridiculously insinuate Sony is the exact same, then act like anyone who doesn't like the current state of MS thinks only PS should be allowed to make games...
It gets old, bro. Really old. You're a fanboy, period, and you cannot abide criticism of your company of choice. It shows. Just drop the charade already.
Are you perchance thinking of Aaron "I'll single-handedly mainstream the Console Wars" Greenberg?
VII had objectively worse pacing and nowhere near as much character development as IX, but that don't stop polls from wanking it. And it's CERTAINLY better than X in every way.
Not saying much there.
Yeeeah no. FFIX is easily the best in the series, imo. Second favorite game of all time.
I rank Uncharted 4 as the best in the series, honestly.
Fun fact, this is how Rare made Sea of Thieves.
(/s for them that can't tell a joke)
Ahahaha
A remake of Sid Meier's Pirates from the early 2000s still dumps all over this, and pretty much every other, pirate game.
The foundation is crap. Two ship types, weapon changes are purely cosmetic, no specialization, all customization, be it your pirate or ship, is cosmetic, the cosmetics are RIDICULOUSLY expensive and you have to grind for the $10k plus gold you'll need for one of them by doing the same kinds of fetch quests and "raids" over and over again, the combat is shallow and unintuitive because god forbid we have people play, practice, and improve, gotta have that Level Playing Field, and ...
I wouldn't call it a draw. NMS legitimately had more variety and more to do at launch.
