Ah, the obligatory hate article.
Fun fact, the Marvel and DC-verses, at least the core ones, also exist in one another's multiverses.
I love how you guys act like you can never replay an SP game once it's beaten, like they disintegrate as soon as you finish.
You have no idea how many times I've replayed Valkyria Chronicles, Legend of Dragoon, Final Fantasy IX, the Rogue Squadron series, Uncharted...
Japan Studio says hi.
Ahahahahahaha
That's ok, we can't all have good taste in characters.
Insomniac wants to remain independent.
Every incarnation is "canon" if you go by alternate universe standards. They all have their own designated Universe Number.
Peter is living on the island by this point in his life anyways, so unless May hasn't sold the old house and moved yet, there's no real reason to drop into Queens.
Actually, not for Spider-Man games. Depending on the developer and the style of game, it can indeed shirnk down. Web of Shadows, for example, was open world, then Edge of Time shrank to a more linear map, and then Shattered Dimensions narrowed the path even further, but made up for that a bit with the four unique styles of gameplay.
I think the map in ASM2 may have been smaller than in ASM 1 too. Sure felt smaller, at least.
If you seriously have to try to go back to when they were a completely different studio to find a reason to dunk on them then I'd say you're grasping for straws, my guy.
FYI, Syphon Filter was a kickass game.

FFS No Man's Sky is more of a game than this, including at launch. Y'all whack. lmao
Proper Pokemon games*

It means that it's in trouble. No one said anything about "doom". Sales might take a spike downward though.
Yes, clearly the world was wrong and the fanboys were right.
Sid Meier's Pirates, Assassin's Creed IV, that Ubisoft Pirate game given there's actually stuff to do...
Days Gone does it.
More colorful, less grim, more lighthearted fun mixed with the more serious themes, some really fun side-quests and games, awesome characters, and dat Toriyama art.
Not only cool to look at but he do make some pretty ladies. lol
Honestly one of the closest FF entries to a DQ game was probably IX, at least in terms of feel.
Easter eggs, dude. Chill.
