So will PC be locked to 30fps too?
No one said it was anyone at Microsoft. There were Xbox gamers that expected Hellblade 2 be a "God of War killer".
Game went gold a few months ago and will not require a day one patch. FF16 has been optimized by both Sony and Square Enix so you can feel confident jumping in right away!
Actually the Redfall studio was the A studio, they made Dishonored, Dishonored 2, and Prey. A number of staff didn't want to make a multiplayer game and left which resulted in Redfall launching in such a poor state.
At $300 you'd think they'd include the physical AND a digital copy.
Fable is 100% 2025. They're not gonna drop Avowed and Fable in 2024. And Fable didn't even show gameplay despite being announced 3 years ago.
No reason a 1440p 60fps mode isn't available for Series X. If PCs can play Starfield at 1080p 60fps, heck i wouldnt be surprised if the Steam Deck can run it at 800p 60fps.
Most of Sony exclusives like God of War: Ragnarok, Spider-Man, Horizon: Forbidden West, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and etc. all sport balanced Fidelity modes at 40 fps and can include ray-tracing as well.
Not even a mode like that for Starfield? Very disappointing. You'd ...
Did you forget about Final Fantasy 16 and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?
It's not ready, Fable won't be out until 2025 at the earliest.
Such a waste, they should dropped the price of Series S to $199 and made a Series X Slim at $399.
The original was a walking simulator bogged down with repetitive and shallow combat/puzzles to lengthen the time it took to "walk" through the game. With the "voices" gimmick the only thing keeping it unique.
Hellblade 2 will be more of the same albeit prettier and set pieces like the giant. Microsoft budget has clearly just been going towards graphics and nothing else.
No gameplay after 4 to 5 trailers, and Xbox gamers are expecting this to be Microsoft's God of War?
Not a good look.
They should have never revealed the game with the CGI teaser that mimicked how gameplay would look.
Now that we have gameplay, not only has the art direction changed, but it looks really underwhelming.
No gameplay, we learned nothing since the teaser 3 years ago. 2025 game at the earliest.
I mean Xbox gamers don't buy Japanese games like that anyways. Atlas knew this so they secured the bag up front from Microsoft. That probably funded the development costs and now Atlus can enjoy the profits from the rest of the platforms that actually buy their games.
Sony could've not bought them and they would've continued to pump out Playstation exclusive games like they have since PS1.
What's your point?
Overwatch 2 is free though?
Can you help illustrate what you would have liked to see from a sequel?
This demo was amazing. Several hours, cuts off at the perfect time, can't wait to sink my teeth in next week!
