I actually liked the concept behind Boiling Point, so I have high hopes that the Russian developers make an effort to improve the gameplay and scope in this game.
A review score that is solely designed to attract visitors to their site. It's easy to say - "well until you've actually played the game, you can't argue against the score". That's not entirely the case, because you look at other scores from different sites and then compare and see this low score (in comparison) you know something is fishy.
To be controversial for controversies sake.
I agree that there's a lot of hypocrisies when it comes to game reviews. With some reviewers ignoring certain aspects in one game, and then making a point of the same aspect in another and scoring accordingly.
What can you do? - read the review, play the demo, then make up your own mind. Enjoyment is subjective anyways, right?

Server Overload - yeh right. More hype of a game that does not really need hype.
It's looking pretty promising thus far and of course the voice command feature should be more than just a gimmick. It worked well in R6 3 on Xbox. Although they stripped a lot of the commands in R6 Vegas 1 & 2.
There's some thing special about this game and reminds me a little of the Xbox Namco game Breakdown.
I can't wait for more footage and screens. Could this be a winner for EA to stop the EA hatred?

Way to generalize but I think the age of Hardcore gaming is over, as developers now cater more towards the casual market (the majority)
Gaming becoming mainstream has killed off the games for us hardcore.

This game looks great and yes these screens are spoilerish. It's hard to believe that this game is just around the corner.
He also mentioned that if you ran off leaving the injured dog behind, you could be sitting in a pub somewhere having a drink and eventually the dog would catch up with you, all forgiving like.

Have loads of gameplay features that won't leave you with an open world with nothing to do and lots of cash with nothing to spend it on. No seriously, I mean be regarded as a better game amongst the gaming elite rather than selling more than GTA IV.

All valid points which would have made GTA IV 11/10 rather than the scores it has been given. Once the initial buzz has worn off, the cracks begin to appear.

See my above post about using it to gain an achievement. Also it could be argued that from the point of looking at the site and having the instant 4 stars, you could walk out with your hands up - or whip out the boomstick and fight for your life as the fugitive pedo.
