i own all consoles, i prefer my one x and would have liked to play control on that than my pro, but i prefer remedy more, so more power to them, whatever helps them keep making games. sucks for people with only one system but such is the way it is.

wow yes i totally get you about the combat problem, its so sparse, the were skills in the skill tree like death from above and below and heavy takedown, i never got those skills because combat with those permutation is so rare that you can always get out of encounters anyhow. Just baffling design, that same studio pretty much took a dump on mankind divided as well.

Shadow was a bad game. Way too many collectibles always disrupting the rhythm of the gameplay. Incoherent and boring story and characters. Same combat mechanics from the first tr reboot game. The skills tree has the same skills from the first game.

They should not be happy with what they put out. It was a bad game. I loved rise of the tr. but this was just a mediocre game padded for length with the collectibles.

I don’t want to throw my switch on the wall with frustration tbh. But ori would be great on switch. It’s just infuriatingly difficult at times. Especially the escape sections

I really wanted to like anthem. I did the 10 hour trial on ea access on my one x and was not impressed by it. I’m glad you’re enjoying it. And hopefully BioWare can address the issues and end up with a better game. Because I’d love to jump into it again.

Mutant year zero , end of list

man sites like IGN gamespot giantbomb and gameinformer aren't the same as influencers on youtube, influencer posts on games during a lead up to a release are usually like paid posts on instagram, in this situation if this influencer accepted EA money for a sponsored post on anthem it makes sense that ea doesn't want to be put in a negative light by him/her.

One of the best single player campaigns of that year. Great multiplayer too.i think I’ve but in close to 50 hours in attrition alone.

I hope so but ea games haven’t done that this gen yet. Very few devs have had the option to hit the 1080 option in game. I got my one x and pro for the framerates. The consoles released in 2013 haven’t kept a good framerate out the gates and the enchanced systems for the most part have had the prioritize framerate options but desipite the power of 1x it can’t hold a 30fps framerate with 4K on frostbite in anthem. I hope BioWare changes that.

this is what digital foundry also concluded, i played the demo on ps4 pro, while it didnt run perfectly it did run better than my one x, if you turn off supersampling settings on pro it will run the game on 1080p which gives a better frame rate, one x doesnt have any settings to run the game on 1080 only on console level, it will always be supersampled 4k and thus makes the framerate vary. Bioware should add a 1080p setting on one x since MS doesnt do it on a console level like the pro.

This was the first game that made me realize there is an infinite spawning of Nazis if you don’t move forward. And they throw grenades like it was burning a hole in their pockets.

Length without any change to the pace is the problem. Games can be long but isolation really makes the length tedious because nothing really changes. The feeling you have when you started that game in the first 2 hours, it’s the same through to the next 15. Blaming it on it’s length might not sound like valid criticism to most people but a game that makes you feel like it’s long and has run out of ideas 8 hours ago is the criticism.

Alien isolation was alright. Not great just alright. It was too long

This is alright so far. Not a fan of the souls games but I played bloodborne and the surge from that genre and loved it enough to beat it. I’ve been playing ashen for a couple of hours now and beat the first shadow boss. It’s pretty good so far. I’m probably gonna see this though. It’s a good podcast / Netflix game like bloodborne and surge.

i dont think it matters after how long they do it, i love that they are pushing back after sony slapped them across the face at the start of this gen, at some point i though microsoft would be non competitive and i love that they came back swinging , bring things like BC and Game pass for their first party, making the one X, all these moves will help consumers and if honestly MS had better exclusives this gen their move of bringing first party titles to gamepass would put pressure on sony to ...
