@2.1 & 2.2
Holy crap! PS3 consumes 10-20 Watts more than 360! That's almost a third of a light bulb!!! OMG!
Seriously though, the PS consumes just a little bit more that the box - http://www.hardcoreware.net...
Videophiles won't go with HD-DVD because BR has better quality.
Video and audiophile communities go with the best quality and generally don't give a damn about on-line bonus features or the price of equipment/content.
I don't like the bit about damage.
But I think that Polyphony understand that it is a must-have feature and they will do something about it (like delay the game 6 more months).
This is really, really, really weak.
What did the kill methods do to them? And what's with the nazi stuff? Does this game have something to do with WW2? I don't recall anything about any swastikas in WW1.
@ 5.4
2 - Jesus f*ng Christ, I just wanted to know how did that happen...
If I would try to say hes lying I would have posted something like this:
"OMG! Holy Crap those are lies, you bastard! GT doesn't crash!
PS3 and GT roXXXrz!"
Intellectual capacity (or incapacity) of some readers here isn't my problem.
@4.1 :
You haven't used any other MS products besides xbox, have you?
Not responding to problems and denying everything is their business
model. And a pretty successfull one, too.
And no - I don't recall any such reports about Sony. But you can refresh my memory with some links.
@5.2 :
Your logic kinda sucks, sorry.
Exatly where did I say that there are no problems? I asked how did that happen, because I haven't experienced anything bad. Asking how did something happen doesn't mean denying it.
The more Free Radical self-promotes the more doubts I have about Haze.
Really? How did you manage to crash the GT? I've been playing mine for hours and hours with no problems. Motorstorm did crash once, though.
Yeah, this sucks.
Hopefully all the region limits will disappear sometime and then the price should normalize, because everybody would buy from a differenct continent.
Ofcourse, the companies might not remove the regions just to screw us some more.
This is a standard Microsoft procedure - delete the error report.
A month ago we had loads of MGS360 stories popping up almost every day. And now, when everybody has switched from dreams to reality you're upset?
How many graphics comparisons can you have? We've seen 'em all already.
Oh, yeah - and stop posing - the fact that you have a Dreamcast doesn't make you cool.
Nuff' said.
We're fanboys in denial, remember?
So, we're pretty sure, the problems won't come up.
As for sales - there have been reports that the xbox is having problems increasing sales in Europe. And that is not a good sign.
And note, that there are still some 50 million people preparing to upgrade from PS2. I wonder, why haven't they already bought the 360...
Nervous? We don't have to wake up every moring with shaking hands just to check if our PS3's are still working.
This is Build Quality.
Edit: @6.2 @ 6.3 -
Nope, even though the lack of decent games is really frustrating, we do turn on our consoles - to play on-line. Plus, we can save some 50 bucks (euros, whatever) to buy an extra game when they begin to come out in autumn. Check the line-ups - the lack is temporary and I don't think the box had too many ...
We don't bash. We make fun.
Making fun of the competition is sign of a healty sense of humor. Which many people (especially ones with broken xboxes) don't have.
M$ haters?
Everyone hates M$, if you haven't noticed.
Well, at least everyone who has a clue about what exactly is going on.
What the f*?
Not sure? About Civilaztion?!
This is really great news.
Civ2 on PS1 actually was pretty good, apart form the awful "think" times for CPU opponents.
Can't wait for this one. Knowing that Sid himself is a big Playstation fan, this Console-Civ should be fantastic.
Neither of these will be used for enterprise storage.
50 Gb is way too little for backups.
Not always - sometimes even not-so good or even crappy games make it to the top of the charts. For example Spiderman 3 and the latest Pirates of the Caribbean. But this could be a different story - movie adaptions usually sell well and suck at the same time.
Kinda pwn3d.
Its a shame, really.
I wonder if there are any penalties for possessing a banned game?
