@8.1 - that would be the plan to get Unreal Engine a X360, PC exclusive (read a couple comments above). Which, of course, is a pure-evil plan (if it exists).

Even if MS has a pure-evil plan to stop devs from using Unreal Engine on competing consoles (which is kinda unreal), I don't think that they are going to have money left for a buy-out if they manage to buy Yahoo.

Wow! I didn't think that people from gamesindustry.biz are stupid enough to pick this up. Even if MS had the ability and will to buy Sony and ruin the industry with a singe uber-console, Yahoo! and online business is a lot more important to the future (and possibly survival) of MS than the video game market.
Sometimes I get the feeling that people from the video game industry are getting a bit smug and begin to smell their own farts. I believe that this is the case.
