The ps3 was never out of the fight to begin with so this article fails, i can say that this game is a very important property for sony and it will do the ps3 good, but really it will just make people say wow thats on the PS3. Not bad.
because i wont be able to pick it up my Gamestop said that the game is sold out on pre orders alone so if a purchaser of the pre order doesnt get in at some point tomorrow it'll go to the next happy buyer. and i'll be having a late day so. I'll have to get it tonight and submerse myself in all it's glory

Every generation has a learning curve, some platforms are easier but just because it's easy doesn't mean that it gives the best results. and as far as saying that the Devs under Sony's umbrella dont have an opinion on developing 360 games because they develop exclusively on one platform is perhaps the biggest load of rubbish. They are more entitled to comment on cross platform development because before they were all under sony's umbrella they all worked in the PC game development industry ye...
i'm liking this Resistance, ratchet, Motorstorm, all the popular PS3 franchises are making a jump to the pocket on the go PSP.. I Love this iniative
while resistance 2 debuted at in november with 345k.. and thats for the month... if KZ2 first week sales are expected to eclipse both combinded then i'm guess roughly 700k-1m PS3 owners are enlisting for the Perfect war on feb 27th so by the end of March we early april we should hear that KZ2 has sold somewhere around 2 mill in the states. Europe and UK have already launched so the game is already well on it's way to working n that million. as it's 1.1 million+ preorders in EU/UK/AU and Pal....

I'm not asking it to be innovative. but there are things to be improved when making the transition to next gen
better animation smarter and visceral enemy AI and destructible environments and great phsyics... i gotta see things flying around and bodies staying dead on the floor, this melting away or fading way into nothing in this gen when you are trying to go realistic just isn't cutting it
DMC4 was good but not great
and Re5 which really is just Re4 in HD with Co-op...
as it's physics and particle effects and animations aren't great at all and the engine so far has very static environments see all the games using the engine. you cant interact with them, no destructive back grounds and no subtle effects to make the world environments look believable
