This is about what RE5 should be getting 7s and 8s Mid 7s-Mid 8s the nines are not warrented. not in this gen. i've been saying this for ever. RE5 is RE4 with HD graphics. nothing more. the game is simply astounding ^^ i love it it's very action packed.
which is why i wasn't really happy with the color pallet the graphics were a step up bhut in the wrong direction... it somewhat became a halo like game with the color pallet. I didn't particularly like that. R2 should have been a gritty game like R:fom, it was bloody but far from gritty. i wished they would have limited the color pallete and desaturate the look that way the graphics would have looked like a true evolution of R:fom..

Though many Will agree, KZ2 surprised alot and many are saying it now. KZ2 set the bar.
personally i enjoyed both. I dont own lair anymore but it was genius. The controls for me were fine and i understood that the sixaxis is way sensitive so turning down the sensitivity on both made the game far more enjoyable than most would willingly admit... Haze was ok it was no resistance or KZ2... but it was decent and the multiplayer was a blast in addition it the online coop was great with a bunch of buds
And they have done everything in getting the game plenty of exposure to the Xbox fanbase so It's no surprise. I'm sure some exclusive advertising to go with that RE5 bundle and exclusive red xbox 360 was all part of a well thought out marketing for a game MS really wanted to have exclusive to there platform. ^^
Didn't like the demo, so i wont be picking this up. not right now anyway. pretty busy with other games. Good for Capcom though. Some like to stay in the past and tehre will always be a fanbase for that. I love forward progression which is why i think Dead space is a Masterpiece ^^ still I'll likely try rent it when i'm done playing the plethora of titles i haven't beaten yet. the summer months will be perfect for this game.

The journalism media have been good to KILLZONE 2 and Guirilla Games sans a few biased media outlets like Edge, but in terms of in store advertising. I think eitehr Sony left it up to retailers to market it or they are clearly biased. IE Gamestop, there was actually 2 that told me that the pure interest in KZ2 was so low i shouldn't even preorder it just do a walk in and get it. only to find that the night i picked up KZ2 from Gamestop they were all sold out and was only doing for those taht...
