Another problem with DLC that I face is, coming from a country with shocking internet, I don't by DLC, even if its really good, just because it would take way to long to download. So I either buy the disk and lose out on DLC, or wait until there is a Complete/GOTY type edition with all DLC on the disk.
@webevlazing.
My friend even if you don't speak English, please refrain from butchering the language. Thank you!
If good games continue to come out then sure. I still have my 360 plugged in right next to my ps4, and am playing GTA V just as much as AC4.
@gcolley, I agree with you. I am hopping with the new Jurassic park in 2015 that Dinosaurs will be revived in popular media, the trend of zombies/vampires is getting a bit cold (excuse the pun).
Wow, this is actually decently written. A lot better then most biased pieces that have been popping up.
I have a PS4 and I like the way he highlights both the good and bad of it.
He sums up the current situation perfectly, the PS4 is better but lacking games, while the Xbox lost both his and my money with their early announcement info and never did enough to earn it back, even though their games do look slightly interesting, they are just not enough. Which i...
So only people in some parts of the world matter?
Xbox one has not yet been released in South Africa, and there is no confirmed date of when it will be.
This article is slightly missleading, I live in South Africa, and picked up my PS4 today, but they only went on sale less then 18 hours ago, and there wasnt a huge amount of stock.
I went to one of the biggest malls in the country and the biggest warehouse stores there, they had a total of 20 units at the open of business.
So we actually sold out in under 24 hours (more like 12) but it wasnt a massive amount. Still bloody awesome for a 3rd world country, glad...
We already have to wait until after it has already released in the US and UK, so an extra wee shouldn't make a difference. I just see it as a chance to judge reaction on the product before I decide to get it. And at least it is realising here the Xbone doesn't even have a confirmed release anywhere in Africa.
These guys have truly amazing talent, their work added so much life to this game, and they should take just as much credit for its success.
I'm not in anyway talking about Sony and MS, more just attempting (and failing) to make a funny comment regarding David Cage's previous interview where he spoke about failure of game design only later to have it pointed out that many of his games had the aspects that he called failures.
I actually couldn't care less about Sony and MS. :)
What can we do today for hits.
Wonder how many tries that took.
Deceptive title, got me excited :D.
They were just trying to stuff their pockets by using a popular franchise to churn out cheap games.
Releasing only on PS3 is a failure of the game designer.
I don't know enough about this to argue it, while I am extremely sceptical about cloud computing.
Either way I would rather have superior hardware then have to really on having a stable internet connect 24/7 to get the best experience.
Nokia 3310 :D
Was going to buy the PC version had it come out but f*ck that now.
I have finished it on xbox and other then maybe another play through in a few weeks time, I'm not touch it again.
If I'm going to pay $500 for a Machine I expect it to do what it advertises, perfectly.
I'm not paying for 80% or even 95% accuracy. If MS want my money they need to make what I'm paying for work perfectly. That's why even though I owned a 360, I never bought the Kinect.
