This is great Android console have been doing soooo well *Read with sarcasm*
So far Android console have been over priced and have under performed. Maybe these guys can do a better job, but I doubt it.
The idea of a consol that can have its hardware upgraded when its starts to become dated is a good one.
BUT the way Valve are going about it I don't agree with. They are introducing far to much variation, which will not appeal to casual games, as well as most of them being far to expensive.
What they should of done, is make ONE consol, that was a cheap base consol that could then have more expensive hardware added to it depending on what the owner wanted....
Personally I would really like to see a return of dinosaurs to popular media in general.
Most powerful consol this gen, cheaper then the competition and with a promising future.
Also helped by mistakes made by Microsoft early on, even if some of them were righted.
Another factor is last gen was very long, so people are looking to upgrade quickly.
Agree with almost everything you say, other then while sure when It releases in the US most peoples internet should be fine. As for other countries connection speed might be a bit of a worry to those hoping to use the service.
Its just been announced, and we haven't even been told all the info, yet we should be worried?
So according to the Telegraph, gamers are schizophrenic, homicidal, addicts.
*sigh*
As long as its a good franchise I don't see the problem.
You Would think they would just ride the release hype, but no that's not Sony's way, always giving us more!
Or the demand Is very high and they still have to allocate unites for Japan.
The Xbox is also selling in a lot of countries and you can find stock everywhere.
Their territory focus will be interesting. No doubt will kick off in the US. Me being in South Africa I suspect it will be at least a few years until I get to use this at all, but I hope it will be sooner.
@Prime157, I agree with you, PS4 launched in the biggest African market (South Africa) and was sold out in under 3 hours.
Xbox one is not even on sale here let alone anywhere else in Africa, they completely ignored a continent, and that sealed any doubts I had on getting a PS4. So I grabbed it at launch, even though I loved my 360 I refuse to buy from Microsoft of they just Ignore Africa completely.
Also I noticed "has a buttery frame rate" I haven't done enough research but is it 60fps or are they not giving an actual number for a reason?
I played the game last year on pc at about 15 fps due to my shitty card. So I may get this on my PS4, but still haven't yet seen enough to sell me on paying a full $60.
Two years ago I went to the US on a school tour from South Africa (a country know around the world for fake VISA's) the US embassy gave me a 10 year VISA, just like that I could go and live in the US for 5-7 years to earn Citizen ship.
So its really not thaaaat hard. Or at least it wasn't for me.
How has this guy not been banned, every thread I see him on he is trolling.
I own a damn PS4 and I still think he is annoying.
As for the topic, unless Data or electricity is a problem for you as it might be in a few countries, then there is no reason not to leave the PS4 on as its designed to operate that way.
Don't disagree with either of you above, hence I disagree with the statement the article makes that Bathesda didn't take advantage of the potential, my argument is that they could yes do better but its not worth it, they lose money and it stops becoming a game to become a tech demo.
"further proves the huge potential of Skyrim and how Bethesda did not take advantage of it"
That would be true if everyone's pc's could run these mods, but unfortunately they cant, so Bethesda has to provide for everyone's needs.
I will agree that they could add more to their max settings, but that takes time and will only ever be used by the elite few.
Bethesda realise all of this and that's why the create their gam...
Good list, all sound really good. Although you cant really add unconfirmed games to a '2014' wish list, there is no doubt that games like Fallout 4 are on most peoples wish lists.
I happily pay for 3 monthly EVE online accounts, because the content is worth it. Will TES be worth it? Who knows, its never really interested me and I lived Skyrim.
What if its GTA, then prostitutes are cosplay :P
