Im curious how many people buy their consol for exclusives...
Just because I bought mine because I wanted the one that could play maltiplats the best.
I understand buying for exclusives, but is it really worth it if you have to play lower quality naltiplats?

There is a big difference between a Christmas sale, and a massive price drop just a few months after launch.
Sony will be in no rush to drop their price, unlike MS they are selling well with their launch price.
This is less a case of price wars, and more a case of MS trying to find a way to sell their consol.
Abriael please add a spoiler warning. I haven't watched any trailers and knew nothing of this, I try know as little as I can about the story of a game.

truefan, surely even you have to be able to admit that the hardware is weaker in the Xbox.
No dev is ever going to make a game deliberately weaker on one consol. The fact that even first party games are running at lower resolutions will show you that its not a case of 'not trying'.
The RAM setup is creating a bottleneck, trying to push through larger resolutions while maintaining visual effects is proving hard to do.

Exactly, I have never understood the argument that drivers will help one consol catch up to another.
Firstly software can never compensate for hardware.
Secondly, both console will see driver updates, not just one.
Also people who own both console want to know these things, if one version is better then the other, you're going to want to by that one.
I have yet to see any solid proof of anything that will improve the graphical power output of the Xbox. I have no doubt drivers will help in the long term, but not to the extent that is being claimed.
You release on the bigger instalbase because it gives more people the chance of buying it. The less people who own the consol the less there are to be possible buyers. Its statistics and probability.
Zod because then they would actually have to split the cash up a bit, cant do that! :P
Note in the vid Eonjay linked, when he mentions the network requitments needed for this. Now how many of you here can say you meet the network requirements?
This tech is amazing, and works, but its only feasible on an industrial scale. As said in the advert, for advertisement or design. There is now way it can currently be used for home consol gaming, just not with current networks.
Secondly each Iray has 8 GPUs. How many will you need to say 500k to a millio...

That list is about equal with the amount of PS4 games and Xbox games. The fact that PS4s first party game is first, and a multiplat has sold more then double on PS4 to Xbox can hardly be "Spun".
I don't disagree that Titanfall is selling very well, but PS4 software sales are high by 40k then Xbox.

Very similar to the Watch dog required specs. Its more a case of badly optimized games then of being the best quality.
Not according to these figures, if you believe VGCharts. This week it shows Infamous out selling Titanfall, but overall Titanfall holds a small lead.
It interested to see 3 PS4 games in the top 10. And also the huge difference between the sales of Ground Zeros on PS4 and Xbox.
Sure ignoring the fact that there are two PS4 games in the top 3. And the fact that PS4 had a high software sale of about 40k. Yes Titanfall is selling well.
I think the disagrees are more because there is very little know about what Halo will be on Xbox one, let alone even a hint at any kind of release date.
The market could be very different by the time it comes. Speculation on no facts usually doesn't hold up at all.
I hate the concept of day one patches, just because I come from a country with crap internet. I feel a game should be release complete, with only DLC and bug fixes to come later.
Would be extremely upset If I was a Xbox fan having to buying a 900p game, this is just not good enough for a new generation. Cant really blame the game devs though, they have to learn to use a very different a clunky hardware set up.
