The PS3 and 360 had millions of owners, why don't they still make games for that?
Hell the Gameboy sold 118 million systems, they should make some more games for that too.
Your EDIT: And the Wii U was only 5 years old yet they killed it after only 3.
Why isn't the 3DS dead and why isn't this just on the Switch?
@SegaGamer and the great trailers for Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon *title not included* were so much better?
@Nivekki
What surprises are Nintendo releasing this year?
Bethesda was the worst of the show.
They can't continue splitting their limited studio resources between two consoles, 3DS really needs to be put out to pasture.
If it had been in development for a while they could have at least shown a single screenshot or even a name. I doubt they've even started development on it, and will probably being pre-production sometime after Ultra Sun and Moon come out. Don't expect much until 2019 at the earliest.
Andromeda died for this game, I hope its worth it. Looks like they directly copied the skill hotbar from Andromeda, though.
As much as we all want a good Pirate-themed game, please don't forget how Ubisoft handled their last mutliplayer-centric online title, For Honor.
"No, you have to buy a Switch right now in order to get a game that doesn't come out for at least two years!"
Well it did only sell three copies.
Yeah I liked the part where they showed nothing!
OK, but where are the games that are coming out between now and 2019 (at the earliest)? There's no way either a Pokemon game that doesn't even have a title and Metroid Prime 4 are coming out next year, and all we have to look forward to is Xenoblade 2 and Mario Odyssey this year, with some rehashes of Yoshi and Kirby next year.
I don't understand how a logo of a name and the mere mention of the existence stands out over things like Beyond Good and Evil 2, Anthem, or Monster Hunter Worlds, which actually had footage, but to each their own.
You'll be seeing the same two games again at Nintendo's next two E3's.
At least they showed games we'll be able to play within 12 months from now, along with Monster Hunter World and Shadow of the Colossus remake.
Yeah but the original Xenoblade had great voice actors, this trailer was a cringefest through and through.
So you can play a game that won't be out until 2019 at the earliest? Might as well wait for the New Nintendo Switch XL lite 3Di bundled with Metroid Prime 4.
Any other first party would have been ripped apart for announcements like that, but Nintendo fans are rabid.
Like what? They showed all of two exclusives coming this year, Xenoblade 2, which didn't look or sound too great, and Mario Odyssey. Everything else was DLC, ports, or not releasing until 2018 or beyond.
Couldn't even manage a Monster Hunter XX release date for the West.
The Wii sold 100 million units, they should definitely keep making games for that too then, right?
