If you were to actually think about it, developers are just functions. They're just making things, right? Capcom, case and point, was favorite because they made great fighting games, right? So to long time fans, all they want is good fighting games. Well guess what, Bandai Namco can do the same thing. Arc System Works can do the same thing. Go ahead and try them out.
How about adding a second player?
Or you can just own one console and get both the exclusives and the multiplats and spend the money you saved on more games.
Spiderman will definitely be DLC, but no X-Men is because Disney is desperately trying to make the X-Men brand less well known so they can (eventually) snag back the movie licenses from Fox. Obviously it's not working, because both Deadpool and Logan are up there with current MCU movies, Logan probably being better than most. If Fox can keep up this quality (which, knowing Fox is always a 50/50 chance) there's no way they'll be getting those rights back for cheap within the next t...
It's hard to say if the Wii "counts." On the one hand, it was a console and it had actual full-fledged games, some of them the best of their genre of the generation (Xenoblade, Mario Galaxy, etc); but on the other, most of the consumers who bought it used it for nothing more than Wii Sports/Fit or Carnival Games and and other shovelware titles.
Sure, you can argue that SOME of the other consoles of this generation and last were sold primarily as Netflix or Bl...
My life won't have a meaning for time. It will be "Monster Hunter" or "Not currently Monster Hunter"
If you have a working PS3 you could get the ZoE HD collection used. No money for Konami that way.
Capcom sure shut up the haters fast.
The main reason I hope they go under. Shame about the developers who don't have a say in what they make, but you can't just sit on something as great as Timesplitters, be desperate for cash, and then not release Timesplitters.
Aw I'd rather pay money for it and (hopefully) keep microtransactions out.
He's right in that indies aren't worth mentioning during the E3 show; chances are they are playable on everything anyway and most people are sick of them by now.
VR isn't worth wasting their time though, until an actual, FULL game comes out besides Resident Evil 7. We're all sick of seeing jank tech demos and last gen ports.
This would be absolutely terrible on the Switch, for multiple reasons:
Increased development time for the other versions
Worse specs leading to downgrades for the other versions
Wifi only, having to tether to your phone while not at home
Joycon are terrible for fighting games
Can't realistically play it portably with a fight stick
Need a USB hub to play it docked with two players with fight sticks
Can you imagine try...
The game is old news and instead of actually finishing it they are releasing fishing VR.
Because the 3DS is ancient hardware and should have died with the release of the Switch, but Nintendo is too scared to go all in with their newer consoles.
It was a worthy cause until they became sticklers for royalties. Publishers agreed to every other demand, but them sticking to royalties and outright rejecting everything else is just stupid.
More like:
"Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite has Infinite overpriced DLC even before release"
Switch is basically dead to me. Mario Odyssey looks amazing, but the rest of the offerings are piss poor. Third parties already jumping ship.
Forza 7 might be better graphically and mechanically, but The Crew 2 looks waaaay more fun.
I'd rather poop on my floor and then have to clean it up than play another Sonic title made by Sega.
Fuel had a really fantastic tornado if I remember correctly.
