In the UK at least they do seem to advertise a lot more than Sony...
Sony seemed to have put all of their effort in sponsoring Channel 5 which is a bad idea since its advertising to pretty much wrong demographic and with bad adverts as well which doesn't help, but they did have the exclusive advertising with BF3 and FIFA which was a good idea and a very good one up on MS.

I've always been a 3DFX and a Nvidia guy... No particular reason other than pretty much all of their card ranges have been top notch especially when the Nvidia non reference cards start appearing.
But for me, nothing will ever beat the Voodoo Rush which meant finally you only had to buy just the 1 card instead of having to have a separate 2D card and bridging them... Although the Voodoo 2 comes close since it was SLI ready!
Expensive but still tempted to get one for when I'm at the workshop, just worried about damage and scratches etc...
