Stupid.... If people need this stuff they're not going to buy a "Core" 360 then buy this package. Core + package equals $300. Pro Console that is the whole package, $300. Cat-5 cables are dirt cheap online through places like monoprice.com, this whole we have a special hard drive so it's more expensive is bull, and the headset + Live, no comment necessary. Just get rid of this "Core" model already MS... and concerning the price. Just like anything else console manufacture...
well Konami did say less than 10k. So probably about 9,999 of these were released in the US. At the price most Americans just don't want the premium price for a premium/special offer. Especially considering Limited is Collectors in the gaming world. Maybe you can blame all these publishers who have tagged their not so limited editions w/ the title this past 5 years. Consumers see Limited Edition game/console and they know better than to believe that it might actually be limited....
same here. If the shoe fits wear it. If it doesn't, well.... just let it be. Master Chief doesn't fit, nor does he belong in Fable. At least not this Fable. Maybe next time around if they want to launch Fable in Space, but for this style RPG Master Chiefs outfit just doesn't fit. It's a shame they threw in such dribble...
the problem in that is that Sony Can't force developers to implement trophies into games that are only a couple-few months from releasing. Which is why we have the wait n see with games releasing this year. I think come 2009 developers will have had adequate time to implement trophies into game in development and they'll become mandatory.... But it's not like Sony could say here's trophies, they're now a requirement for PS3 games. It would only have led to irate developers/publishers, pushed ...
A spelunker is one who explores caves.
As for the list, yeah, 9 games are even listed on the site. Nice shot at attention neocrisis
If I'm not mistaken only some beta testers will have their content roll over. So this might just be a case of confusion on his behalf.
Initially MM said that some of the top levels could be brought over. It was said that user created levels, in general, would not carry over into the retail release. Later, Sony offered beta codes (PS Blog) saying that the levels created in the beta w/ their codes will carry over. So I don't know if this is was always an option and they've decided ...
yes, it's a 6 minute video but it actually takes longer than 6 minutes to go though. Crap, it takes more than 6 minutes to understand. For $3 I don't see how anyone can complain. I ran through it for the past 20-30 minutes (two modes, Linger & Watch) and had fun with it. To boot I got a few trophies. For $2.99 it was well worth it. Had Linger cost twice that I'd be questioning Sony, but for $3, come on. Had this been an arcade game back in the day you'd have sunk twice that into it just t...
so why are they even bothering to continue offering Fable II CE? All this you'd think they'd just say to hell with it and just release the standard. Oh, yeah, all those unsuspecting fools who'll still spend the extra money thinking they're getting some cool CE only to realize they've been had. buy yeah, why even bother, just axe it altogether if you ask me.
these are all user created levels (content) from the beta.... A lot of which I'm not a fan of but this was a pretty cool level. Nothing special but seeing how well they replicated space invaders and playing it was pretty cool. While a lot of the levels are rubbish there's a lot of good-solid stuff....
There's certainly a lot of fun levels out there, and some that are challenging as well. It's just that all the trivial (themed) content is being shown by these websites...
yep, it is a shame. I was holding out for the PS3 version and once that bonehead (reportedly) said there weren't any plans for a NA release I said enough is enough, I'll pay $30 (actually $20, had $10 off @ amazon from NGII) and get it now. The sick thing is that turned out to be completely false as they had to have been working on the PS3 version in NA when that comment was made for it be releasing this Oct because localizing takes at the very least 6 months to do... That really pissed me of...
Eternal Sonata, guarantee there's nothing sloppy about it. Tales of Vesperia would be another great Nacmo Bandai game to come to PS3 if it were to happen. My only complaint is that I don't play this waiting game. First come first serve. I already bought Eternal Sonanta after that knucklehead said there were no plans for a US release. So since then it's first come first serve. Games out, I want it, I'll buy it...
and the thing is these fliers are printed a week to a month in advance. If a retailer knows the price is dropping and is printing a new add for it there's not much they can do to control how/when this info gets out... A friend of mine use to work at a printing company that prints Playboy, Cabela's, Shopko and several other adds/magazines/catalogs & I'd often know who the Playmate was months in advance, & normally even see the magazine if I down there, etc. Same goes for adds in which ...
How is this a Blockbuster lineup again?
Lol, kinda figured as much... while I was cheating my way to 2 million gold the thought crossed my mind that perhaps this was meant to be there. With the Good vs Evil points Fable implements you could take a big hit of being evil for cheating at the Pub. Now I don't know if that's what this means he implies that cheaters will have a surprise come time to play Fable II but the thought of being punished did cross my mind long after I had already begun to accumulate masses of wealth.... I guess ...
I suppose you're basing this game and placing judgment on it solely off the IGN review? If so you might want to rethink that and actually go play the game. Disgaea is the pinnacle of SRPGs and D3 is no different. Overall Disgaea (all) is rated very good on MetaCritic for an RPG. Scoring an average of about 8.5 which is fantastic for any RPG since so many are grossly underrated/scored/reviewed. It's an excellent series not only in it's gameplay but it's storylines, and humor as well. Not to ev...
well it is a Tri-Ace game... And let's not forget, unless your name is Final Fantasy, Fable, Kingdom Hearts or Mass Effect your RPGs are going to be grossly underscored. What will be interesting is to see what the two real reviews say; RPGfan and RPGamer. They're the only two sources I trust when it comes to RPGs. On a border line game like Infinite Undiscovery their review will persuade me to buy it, or hold off on it until I have the desire/time to play it. But right now, with Disgaea 3, an...
I doubt it but at the same time can believe it. This is coming from a German source after all. So this could mean nothing more that it'll be released for the PS3 in Germany/parts of Europe before the 360 and PC counterparts drop. For North America however I think this, if it holds merit, doesn't even affect us one bit anyway...
as stated above, BETA. Do people not actually understand the point of beta testing? It's for gamers to help developers find and address bugs. Instead of only doing in house beta testing they're opening these games up for gamers to also become a part of the quality assurance team. In some sense I can't even believe this was posted. It's a Beta people. Very few, if any beta tests have absolutely zero bugs. It's a matter of whether or not there are a few or are a lot because I've been in some aw...
very nice, thanks for the tip...
Yeah, I got quite a few I never got around to opening/playing... Now I try to only buy games I'll be playing right away but that doesn't always work either. Got GTA IV for my PS3 but got the 360 version from gamefly so I never got around to opening that one. Now w/ trophy support it gives me good reason to go back and play it again. Just on my PS3 this time... ;)
Anyway, yeah, 24 games still sealed (most RPGs) out of about 140 games. Actually we can say 23 unopened because Fable ...
