the upcoming anchorage add-on will take place in a simulator, so will be similar feeling hopefully.
but thats the problem, just button mashing. like most of the rest of the game, interactive movie. not saying that's bad, but after 2-3 playthrus, gets kinda annoying whereas fallout never gets boring.
i'm not bashing MGS4 or anything, just stating why i think IGN made fallout the pick (which i agree with)
I guess it depends on your personal taste in games, but to me its not even CLOSE. Fallout 3 hands down. I've logged close to 100 hours in this game and still find new things. The game has best engrossing environment ever.
MGS4 was good the first time through, but i beat it 2 more times and that was it. MGS4 might have had a better storyline (which makes sense, cuz it is essentially an interactive movie), but fallout 3 was the best overall package.
i could play fa...

what about the people that already preordered this at gamestop? can i still get the demo? might need to make a call shortly.
this game has been leaked(if you know where to look), downloading as we speak, must not be region locked, will burn to CD and be playing soon.
great comment, very insightful and unbiased
the usual lame N4G bs article. lets get articles about games and less about sales numbers, who cares.
i almost never comment on this site because of it's huge bias, but some of these posts are ridiculous. its a matter of opinion. i own all 3 systems and i barely use any of them other than xbox 360. Seriously, for $199 u are getting an outrageous deal. slick interface, power of a $1000+ computer, excellent online service (which is worth paying for), looks slick, u can customize it how u want (add wireless, etc), good games that are almost always better than the PS3 counterpart, and AMAZIN...
First of all, this "article" (if you can call it that), is dumb. That being said, you assume that the issue of PS3 not selling as well as 360 has to do with price. If it were a few years ago, I would agree with you. But as somebody above has already stated, the PS brand name is losing it's appeal.
I would argue that even with aggressive price cuts that Sony could not afford, people just don't want a PS3. 360 is seen as the "cool" system to own this generat...
totally agree.....watching those vids made me think one thing, waste of time that could be spent playing video games.
i still don't see what the big deal is, how long has Second Life been out? i'd rather be playing games than standing around "virtual dancing." Tried for about 15-mins, got bored, went back to playing Left 4 Dead (which freaking rules my life btw).
and it does have 2-player splitscreen, but if you don't have live, probably not worth buying in my opinion.
oh, and you sound like a fanboy and complete tool. just wanted to throw that out there :-)
OMG, isn't this getting a bit old already? plus, its linked to a gamespot forum post? quite wasting my time by posting this cr**!
can't really disagree with that
its a win-win situation, unless u only own a wii, then sucks to be you.
totally agree, have both systems and played both demos. xbox360 seems to be sharper and much less "jaggy" but the brightness seems like its way to high on the 360.
overall, almost identical, comes down to what system you own or, in my case, which controller you like better (or which game library could use a new title, or if i would like gamescore or trophies, lol)
relax people will be amazing on whatever system you play on.
this is a great deal and a good move on Microsoft's part. I don't see how any1 can knock it.
ya, if they hadn't released the core/arcade version, this wouldn't be an issue, but they took steps to resolve it, so props to them.
i guess the people at Microsoft figured that a cheaper core version was need back in 2005 when the system came out. remember how every1 was freaking out about the $399 price point for the premium system? it allowed them to price the system at...
pretty sweet actually, 20gb xbox360 with NXE and games like gears2, etc for less than a Nintendo Wii! great deal for the frugal gamer out there!
when you have a game this big. you know how many little details go into a game like this? i don't think it's possible to beta test it completely. i can't even fathom how you would make a game this expansive.
