i have to agree, this game was great! especially for when it came out, had slick graphics, awesome level design and gameplay design. pretty good storyline too.
i always wondered why this one didn't get the props it deserved, is still one of my favs, need to go back and play again sometime.
especially if your a fan of FPS games, you need to pick this one up. there is some really unique stuff in this game.
how i understand it is that it would be more of an On-Demand kinda thing, kinda how netflix does their instant watch. and in my opinion, something like instant watch SHOULD replace buying DVD's. way cheaper and more convenient, who cares about OWNING the product.
i'm curious why everyone has this obsession with physically owning the game they are playing? As long as you always have it there to play on your account, you don't need to OWN it, its there for you to play.

if u look closely, it looks like the aiming system requires u to not move (kinda like RE4).
and i don't doubt that these graphics were possible. have u seen doom 3, splinter cell, riddick, etc? original xbox was a beast at the time.

after playing the demo i am now replaying 4 and it does seem to have easier controls, i'm sure i'll get used to 5, but it does seem a little "harder" to get used to. can't really put my finger on why though. the quick weapon switch and in-game inventory rule though.
you'd be BLIND not to see that the 360 version looks better. i don't know if that's because of anti-aliasing or what, but all I know is that it looks much sharper whereas the PS3 version loses a lot of detail to blurriness. with other cross-console games, I couldn't really tell the difference, but this is so clear to me. If you argue this from these pictures, you lose all credibility as a non-fanboy.

i HAVE a ps3 and don't really want it, lol. there are games for it that are really good, but the overall experience of the system isn't there for me. bulky, don't like the controller as much, online not as good (almost noone has mics), etc.

I go to college in a different state, however, when I came back home to visit, i noticed that my local library (Schaumburg Township Library, IL), carries PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii games. This was at least 1 and 1/2 years ago, so i dont know how long they have been doing it. crazy.
