@Abriael
Although you're right, nobody in their right mine really believe MS would give up all exclusives just because other companies would go multiplatform, actually knowing how MS operates the first thing they would do is making an exclusive, after all every single company need something exclusive that it's not anywhere else.
@4Sh0w
did MS worked with those developers and created a few games funded by MS and developed in conjunction with ms before they bought those studios ? ... Thats the big difference ...
most will die from damage of a storm, from needing oxygen or by fall damage, everybody and their grandma know this ... I would not call this news, since on every game your first death most of the time is dumb smh
@343guilty
"You can’t just buy part of a company. You seem to lack a fundamental understanding on how businesses work ...."
this level of r is massive, especially after the arcticle speaking about MS going after zynga...
you know, the parent company of zynga is take2interactive *smh*
you people spit w/e comes to your mind smh again
Because Capcom at that time was basically crapcom and didnt want to fund the game, so Sony offered to fund it only if it was console exclusive, Sony didnt go out of the way and then bought capcom then halted development of projects on going for xbox and made them exclusive to the PS ...
@old mcgroin
it's not small but no man sky has a few quintillion planets which starfield is basically a clone of it, with some things that up to now look better and others are a worst implementation..
they probably do not disclose important information with those companies either... when sony developed the ps4 and ps5 they asked publishers and devs about many things and let them help with the developing of those consoles, controllers etc so they had a better platform and a easier way to work and understand the console, guess activision is out of the picture for that, they will probably provide enough information for them to make the game but most likely wont give them full details about th...
@gunstar75
deep?! why do people keep talking about it like it's something super unique when It's just a clone of no man's sky with a different paint job, the worlds/planets are probably make through IA even if the dev says otherwise especially now when they have become super easy to make though IA, the gunplay is clunky it needs better work etc, do not get me wrong I love starfield but it's because i love these kind of games, although its nothing special whe...
"The game borrows some Souls elements, but from what I gather it's focused more on optimising action over adventure"
Wrong, souls games borrowed some element from AC not the other way around, AC 6 just looks like an AC game but its better with every new entry, dunno what is wrong with that.
I bought brave fencer musashi just for ff8 demo, at the end of the day ff8 is one of the less ff i likes but at least i loved brave fencer musashi
Oh south africa, the place used to buy cheap live gold to convert them to Gamepass Ultimate!
@BandarHub
Publishing on a different platform cost money and not few cents, add to that the patches, they would have to pay MS for every patch they make. no point in spending a few millions in releasing somewhere when you know it will hardly sell and you wont recover money, they know those 30m are not real potential buyers, most wont buy, especially now that gamepass exist and MS itself said it jeopardize sales... FFXVI might sell some, but most of their titles would not sell on xbox...
They are public traded company, so what you expect, shareholders ...
More than 40% of their revenues comes from Sony Playstation, if they stop getting that money shareholders would leave and then the company would take a big hit on their valuation .... So yea would be stupid to take a hit of 40% $$$ just for retaliation, they can take some time exclusivity deal from MS though
And what does that say? I mean Valve is not against anything at all, Gabe doesn't care much about anything, they are not even against Tim buying his dumb exclusivity deals with publishers, the only thing he was against was publishers taking money from preorders and later cancelling everything to go egs exclusive for a few months and this was mainly because people got really mad about it since many publishers did this, so Gabe added some rules/policies for publishing games on their storefr...
We are affected as a consumer on the long run, and many of us pc gamers know MS is so used to buy companies to take them out of competition (not the case of gaming studios but they do neglect them too)... what do stop MS from no longer releasing games on steam in a couple of years down the road when they are closer to their monopolistic thinking for example?! and then making them exclusive to gamepass on ms store at a dumb price cause as soon as they acquire Activision they will throw a dumb ...
Its basically what Valve do with their games, the items, weapons, skins etc people get a csgo and their games, where you have the options to sell them someone else or trade (just like it was their trade cards) they just have to look for a different name and a different marketing direction because anything called NFT spark hates on it, to some point understandable though since NFT are seen and are for the most part just a cash grab, a system like the valve one is where the industry might move ...
I don't have to go watch any video, you can go and dislike it, many videos says that when you use the extension, especially on products and stuff that are review bombed, again you can like and dislike the video you just cant see it, the likes are also hidden smh thats why it says disable by owner when you use an extension, clean your lenses...
When SE want to silence gamers completely they disable comments, which they also didn't in this case, keep disagreeing and crying abou...
maybe cause SE didn't disabled anything, youtube did a long time ago, you can still dislike videos just cant see it w/o some external extensions on browsers and I know you can because I disliked it a couple days ago
I think capcom pretty much know they should not include locked places on their demos, as long as they place only what can be played and dont lock places they dont want anybody seeing its okay; the day they do that a modder will break it (just like the room) and then that would be stepping the boundaries but Capcom knows what they care and what they dont.
it's not close to the same, for one they're family and close family mother and son which need to be disclosed and also, who is to say the lawyers who used to work and doesnt work for sony anymore doesnt like sony or hold a grudge against sony for X or Y thing ...
