yeah sure, so much hate that it was the most wish listed game on steam at a time
they have been looking for a hit, this game has many many things from their last game craftopedia, heck they could have just updated with palworld stuff and could pass, but I guess some dev trying to make a hit which is not bad since they have been updating the old game, if they do not release this one then they would probably miss their chance
tbh i do not know about low effort since thats what gamefreak has actually been doing with pokemon, one of the reason why this game has so many players and interest.

Yeah but when they are successful its not because they can’t stay independent, its usually because the founders wants to cash out and leave or got into trouble and selling is their best option like activision… will cd projekct will sell out at some point? i believe so but it wont be because they cant stay independent, it will most likely be when founders feel like theyre losing that spark and want to cash out and be near a beach!

they dropped exclusives games to their consoles, consoles needs goods exclusives even if they come to other platforms 3 years later… they focused on basically being a big 3rd party publisher instead of being a console maker to drive consoles sales, you reap what you sow after all!
PC gamers are used to pay for digital… now a days it doesnt even matter since many games are broken without day one patchs…
DMC4 Special Edition is not delisted, it was just the standard version, it has nothing to do with issues of performance or anything alike. Its just that Capcom probably do not want to sell the standard version, neither the standalone DMC3 version.
