If people want to purchase MW3, then let them. It is their money. If they're willing to buy the same thing every year, they clearly have no standards but that's fine because it keeps them entertained. For people with good taste and hardcore shooter fans, BF3 will deliver. For casual gamers with no test, MW3 will deliver. Everybody's happy!

Nvidia and Sony have a good relationship. I think Nvidia will do the PS4's graphics and AMD will do the 720's. Seeing as graphics cards are doing more and more processing and cpus are doing less and less and considering the cell does a lot of the graphics work, I think the PS4 may not have an upgraded cell but an entirely different chip.

Remember hat time has also been taken up with the GTA IV dlc and Agent. By the time it releases, it will have had three years of pure development at least. All their time since San Andreas was focused on IV and Manhunt 2. Rockstar Leeds did the stories games.
No Rockstar will announce this with a trailer. When they debut trailers, they don't debut them at conferences or award ceremonies. They debut them on their website. GTA V is too big for the VGAs and Rockstar don't need a public event to announce the title. The only way a trailer would be shown at the VGAs is if the game had been announced beforehand.

Its not violence for the sake of violence. It's about experience the life of a criminal in an atmospheric city. I don't know about you but causing havoc and destruction in a detailed and vibrant virtual city is a lot of fun to me. I like being the bad guy in games and I like driving/shooting in games. Thus GTA is not pointless and is one of the most critically and commercially successful franchises in gaming history for a reason. GTA IV is the best game this gen so far imo.

The game looks great on 360. I'll be playing it on PC but it will be an excellent game on all platforms.
Why were there no riots like this 10 years ago? Simply because Facebook was not around. The games to blame are the Facebook games! Farm Ville is driving people so insane that they have to destroy stuff. It makes sense if you don't think about it.
Maybe it isn't wise buying so many studios as it can lead to less competition. Though I wonder if Epic would say the same thing if MS had bought the studios and Sony hadn't. It seems to me that Epic like to suck MS off whenever they get a chance. Cliff Blezinski is a good developer but he should do more developing and less talking. GTA actually helps reduce riots because people can take their frustrations out in the game. Before GTA III, I was a riotaholic but now I just riot twice or three times a week.

That being said, Nvidia's GTX series graphics cards are the best on the market. I know because I've the GTX 580 and love it. I'm sure Nvidia could do a deal with Sony where they would be more lenient over the use of their ip or they would let the ip be Sony's. If it means they'll do more business, then they will do it.
