Battlefield 3 has single player? Just kidding but seriously, Battlefield is about the multiplayer. most fps games are. You play the campaign to get a feel for the game and then you launch into the multiplayer. This isn't Uncharted we're talking about here where the single player element is heaven and you never want the single player story to finish. This is a franchise that has revolutionised and being successful in one area, multiplayer. This is Battlefield.

Agent will come out, probably late 2013 or early 2014 and I still think it's a PS3 exclusive. Otherwise, why release GTA V before it if they have been working on it so long? I think they're using the PS3 to launch a new franchise and want to launch with a bang by fully utilising the PS3's hardware. They could just do that on pc and make a better game but pc games don't sell as much as console's and Rockstar have a good history with Sony.
Go back and look at my posts. How many times have I said GTa V would be released late 2012? Though I did get the announcement date wrong. Rockstar North know that no other game can stand in the way of the GTA MEGATON franchise, not even CoD and that's why they boldly announced it near the release of this year's biggest games. Fanboys on this site are extremely annoying. The whole point of sites reviewing games is to give an "opinion" on games and when somebody who has played a game gives the game a score fanboys who HAVEN'T played the game don't like, they slam the reviewer. The game is getting great reviews so far and an 8 is a great score anyway. Just accept it and move on.
Who cares about what people think. Just look at Uncharted 2. For its genre, it was the closest to perfection that any game has ever come and I'm very critical with games. I loved every second of it and I'm still playing it. The fact is if you loved UC2, you will love this even more because ND have clearly taken what they did in UC2 and improved on it. I don't mean every year and I agree with you on that. I simply would prefer a proper MGS game than MGS Rising. Now maybe Rising will be awesome and I hope it is but when will we see another true MGS game? It has been over 3 years since 4 and even though PW was brilliant, it was limited due to it being on a handheld.
Right so the single player and co-op are out-of-this-world awesome but what about the competitive multiplayer? Some early players said it was a mess. Are they right or will ND have time to fix it? The multiplayer could prevent it from being GOTY but I'm getting it day 1 regardless.
It all depends what gamers want in a game. Some gamers like to relax when playing games and not stress the brain tissue too much. Well Oblivion was 5 and a half years ago. They've had time to get used to the PS3 and 360 hardware. I think they're cutting the open world up a bit more, reducing the amount of content that is loaded and increasing texture quality on the content that is loaded as a result. We'll know in two weeks.
