I'm really interested in this game now. It is basically a game that when played, causes a chain reaction of other games and it goes on and on to infinity. The possibilities are endless and therefore the game is everlasting. If that's not value for money, what the hell is?
This is excellent news. GOW3 was flawless and this makes me even more excited for LBP2. It will be GOW3 vs GT5 vs LBP2 vs ME2 vs HR vs Reach vs RDR vs Mafia 2 for GOTY. Hopefully Resistance 3 will be announced at E3 for release in the fall and that then will also be a contender. This has been a great year so far for games. I think EDGE purposely try to be harder on games just to stand out. The data from past reviews does clearly indicate that EDGE favours the 360 and is biased towards its games. I'm not getting hyped for any game anymore in fear of being drastically disappointed. I do however think that this game will be great but you don't know for sure until you play it. Id have a good track record so hopefully they will deliver.

This is an obvious statement. Anyone who thinks the 360 can match the PS3 is either high, delusional or dumb. I'm not a graphics whore but 360 fanboys need to play either Killzone 2, GOW3 or UC2. A score of 8.5 means its a great game but not an excellent one. Uncharted 1 got 8/10 from Gamespot. Is that a bad game? Hell no! Fable 2 also got 8.5 and so did FFXIII. I think it will either be a fps or tps rpg along the lines of Deus Ex but more expansive. Think of a cross between Deus Ex and Fallout 3 but more story-driven with a decent element of choice. People's standards are too high nowadays. Alan Wake has an average of 8.6 and that's pretty damn good. People need to turn their attention away from the score and look at the individual good and bad points that led the game to receiving such a score. For excample, someone who plays games mostly for the story and graphics won't care much about the repetitive and linear gameplay so the game could be stellar in their opinions.
