I don't hate Sci-fi in my RPGs as I love Phantasy Star & Xenoblade. I don't hate the idea in FF either but it's been nothing but sci-fi for almost every entry since 7 with a couple exceptions. It's time FFXVI becomes the new FFIX and I believe at the very least there have been rumblings the next one will be more based on Fantasy than sci-fi.
No FF7 is the most overrated FF game and it's not even close. IX is underrated.

Began as a Wii game yo so they just revert to something less demanding.
It is much stronger than a PS3. Switch uses tech over a decade newer. You may as well believe a PSP could not be more powerful than a PS1 even tho PSP was a decade of newer tech. That said it would not be able to handle what they had running on Xbox One.
It began development on Wii and was a different game. So they could just reimagine the game again or go back to the plan of it being about Dino's instead of Dragons and no Nero. Doubtful it happens at all but if it does it would no doubt be a different game.
They don't own the trademark tho. The game began as a Wii title so for all we know if there is even a chance at this rumor they remake it closer to that version. That version had Dinosaurs instead of Dragons.

I love mecha games. From Run N Guns of old to 3D action games like Bulk Slash,ZOE,Armored Core,Astebreed and much much more. The demo made me even more hyped for this.

Bioware is a shell of a company. They have not made a good game in nearly a decade. Everything they have made since 2010 has gotten somewhat worse. No need to give Bioware any more chances. EA has ruined them and soon since this game failed EA will likely shut them down. Very likely too late for chances.
