You are confusing style with cartoon. Metroid is not realistic. It has a darker style but still heavily stylized. Stylistic doesn't automatically mean cartoony. Mario 3D World has some realistic textures but I would not call it realistic. Same with Sonic Adventure 2.
More mecha games are always welcome esp since Square's answers to Front mission is Evolved and Left Alive.
Just play Darksiders then or Soul Reaver.
Nothing that has a realistic aesthetic unless we talk about published but they do have darker themed games like Metroid and some of the Zeldas.
Please, Nintendo keep making a stylish looking Zelda game. Realism brought the series down aesthetically and those games aged the worst visually
Nintendo is a 130-year-old company. They have survived in the gaming industry longer than anyone. The switch is selling like crazy and is close to overtaking Xbox One sales. Nintendo is fine.
Never heard of them but this is some Konami bullshit.
I'm not a Digimon fan but the Cybersleuth games are excellent. They basically play like a Shin Megami Tensei game with the atmosphere of a Persona game. Speaking of,Persona 5 is excellent. Nier Automata is amazing. Undertale. Deus Ex Mankind Divided. Dragon's Dogma. Cosmic Star Herione. Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Diablo III. Victor Vran Overkill. Path of Exile. Tokyo Xanadu. Tales of Vesperia. Dragon Quest XI (tho a version with more features, content and better music is coming to...
Each DA game has been watered down. I would not be surprised if they strip it of almost anything that made it an RPG. Mass Effect by 3 was just a TPS and no longer an RPG really. Lastly, do we care anymore? They keep getting worse at making games. DA4 will very likely be another huge letdown. DAI sure wasn't that good. Average at best.
Meanwhile, Falcom never stopped and has been doing it longer than any studio in existence. 35 years of RPGs and basically created the Action RPG Genre. A new Ys is coming out and Trails of Cold Steel III this year.
It's not going to look as good as PS4 but it runs at a solid 60. This is also a huge step up from the old days of handheld ports. I remember playing MK on Game Gear and Game Boy and holy hell am I thankful for what Switch can do for such a small form factor.
If I didn't own this on PS4 I'd get it but it's truly a great game and the last good FF game.
I'd be more excited for a new linear 2.5D Castlevania.
Played it when it came out and loved it and recently re-bought it on Switch physically. I love that it uses the Grandia battle system bar.
No. No console has reached 30 million in 1 year ever or come close to it. Esp not a 6-year-old system.
Vanillaware developed Golden Axe, please.
They opted for Marvel non CU games with exclusives deals with Sony/Nintendo and shaping up to be the best choice.
No thanks.
Nope. Sorry. Atlus detailed it on their JP website.
Meh.
