This will never happen. Sega doesn't have the money anymore and they absolutely suck at marketing in most cases.
"and the speed from the old episodes"
This is such an overused misconception of Sonic games. The old games were never 100% about speed. I actually found that trying to just blast through the levels was punishing. Classic Sonic relied heavily on plarforming, the only levels that you could blitz through quickly (unless you're great at speedrunning the games) were Green Hill Zone from Sonic 1 and Emerald Hill Zone from Sonic 2. It's funny really, because thos...
I hate it, it's actually killed most of my interest in the genre. I no longer buy a fighting game until years after it's released because I know it's going to cost me hundreds of pounds to get the full game if I buy it straight away.
Two things I hate the most about it is the pricing and how giddy the fans get about something that would have been in the game from the start not too long ago. That "don't ask questions, just consume product" meme is ...
Hmm, United reveal their losses because of Covid-19, then days later sue a company over something they haven't had a problem with for 20+ years.......maybe it's just a coincedence.
A review has never stopped me playing a game. I would rather judge for myself if the game is good or not.
I care, but they aren't a deal breaker for me. I would rather have them than not have them though. If Epic had them, I would buy games on their store. There is no point buying games on Epic's store if I can get a better version on Steam.
It's hard to say with CDKeys, they have never been upfront with where they get their keys from, but it is assumed that they buy keys and resell them.
I wouldn't advise anybody to pre-order from them though, especially if it's is a more niche game. I recently tried pre-ordering Shenmue 3 and Streets of Rage 4 and I never got the game. They gave me a refund with this message each time "We regret to inform you that there has been an unexpected issue and unfor...
I think we could see an end to reedeming games through keys in the next few years. Epic's recent partnership with Fanatical and Greenmangaming could mean we are heading towards a future without keys. Linking your account to a store to purchase a game could be what we are heading towards.
I'm not sure how well this will go down with gamers, but publishers will love it. It would basically kill off keys being resold or traded. The likes of G2A, Kinguin and CDKeys would...
I actually think it's the opposite. There is a ton of quality on Game Pass something for everybody. If you can't find something you enjoy on game pass, then I doublt many games would interest you. I pretty much covers every genre you can think of.
I said a few days ago that if Playstation can make a few changes to the pc version, I would subscribe without a second thought. Basically, the streaming side is a massive turn off for me.
I'll add more
Streets of Rage 4
A Plague Tale Innocense
Void Bastards
Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun
Final Fantasy IX
Final Fantasy XV
Metro Exodus
Indivisible
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice
Dead Cells
"considering the lack of quality content on the service"
What a load of bollocks. There are a ton of highly rated games on game pass.
Wrong.
It's not just 1st party games, they got Streets of Rage 4 on there the day it released.
Also, as a pc only player these days, PS Now has very little appeal to me in it's current state. Streaming isn't a great way to play games, the app itself is crap and lacks basic features, controller support outside of dualshock 3 and 4 isn't great, and I can't download any games, unlike on Game Pass where I can download every single one of ...
It's ridiculous. The Final Fantasy series has been marketed the best out of any JRPG in the world, nothing is going to compare to it sales wise. I personally think there are a few JRPG series better than FF, including DQ, but that is another topic.
The reason why DQ hasn't done as well in the west is due to marketing. The series has never been marketed well by Square Enix, and I have always struggled to understand why. DQ XI was handled a bit better, but that isn...
There is nothing exciting about people fanboying over a piece of plastic, it's childish.
This website proves just how toxic console wars are on a daily basis.
You can play it in Europe, it's just that you have to jump through hoops to get the full experience. People say things like "you don't need premium to enjoy it" which is true.....for some people. If you have played Phantasy Star Universe though like I did, then the premium content is a necessity and I can't enjoy it the same without it.
The problem is that I need to actually pay money for that premium content, but to pay for that content I need to chan...
That's pretty cool. I have Mafia 2 and 3 in my Steam library. Mafia 2 has the same achievements and a few upgrades, but it's pretty much the same game with all of the DLC included. I was only missing the DLC for Mafia 3, so it's basically just been given to me for free.
Maybe it's just run it's course. Not every game series needs to keep going forever.
You really need to use some punctuation in your posts, it's hard to read.
"Rockstar could look up & say fine we will add Denuvo Anti Cheat software to the game as Bethesda has done with Doom Eternal then people will end up getting pissy with Rockstar"
Denuvo isn't anti cheat software, it's anti piracy software, they are two very different things.
"While PCs is an open source platform yes there are good poi...
Been saying the same for a few years now. I often wonder if these people have any understanding of hardware at all. I'm still an amateur when it comes to computer hardware, but even I understand that packing all of this into a £500 machine for an entire generation is a huge reach.
