Just wait till battlefield 1 and the other big mp games that are coming out it will generate even more money.
That was Sony best decision psplus for mp that generates alot of money for Sony and when things are looking good for them financially it means the gaming industry has a bright future.
It might suck that we have to pay for online mp games but it's a small price to pay.
I feel that 3 years in the last generation we had so many more games than this generation I know it's down to PSVR alot Devs have jumped on that and the new consoles are coming out and some Devs might be holding of announcing their games so they can come out on the new systems as well. It just seem that games are taking years more time to make and it sucks
My point is if they reveal it in September let's say and come out with a October November release date that's 2 months to save up and it's going to be $499 it's not a good move we need at least 6 months.

Yes if the neo comes 2 or 3 months before the Scorpio I think more people will wait out and buy the Scorpio. Neo needs a big head start if the stats are to be true need at least 6 months releasing so close to the Scorpio and being so much underpowered wouldn't be wise.

Like it or not Neo will be comparable with the Scorpio!! The Xbox one s is just a Xbox one that's a bit smaller and 4K media player.

They will release their console and it will do fine for a year or 6 months until the Scorpio arrives and then people will jump in on that "look at me the most powerful console" and then multiplats will out perform the neo and Microsoft will have the strongest console until the ps5 comes out.

Sony are in a difficult position here no way can they compete against the Scorpio with their rumored specs of the neo. The positives Sony has are the games,cheaper console and the year head start if they can keep producing great games then they should do well.
The Scorpio if it's priced right will sell very well due to it being the most powerful console ever and thats what people want like everything in life big house fast car etc.

Normally they end their conference and it wows me with their scripted staged demos (yes when the game actually comes out its average at best) but this year the last game they showed was very underwhelming not into snowboarding down mountains.
I just hope for honour comes out good that wowed me last year hope it dosnt turn out average it has potential.

This game is a last gen game it's nearly been 3 years in the new gen and we have had nothing from rockstar games apart from a remaster even new consoles are coming out soon.
i think the success of gta online has been a factor that we have had nothing new from any of there studios the money they are making from it are keeping their shareholders happy.
I cannot see Sony matching xbox on power that's why xbox are waiting until next year for the new imd cards to come out.
Sony will have the least powerful console between the two but they will release it first and it will be somewhat cheaper than the Scorpio.

@ Ivan we know for sure it's going to be more than $399 that's what Andrew house said it's going to be more expensive than the launch ps4 and rumors have said it will be $100 more due to the hardware used it's for the hardcore gamers don't expect it to be cheap.
The original will be cheap so they can cover two sides of the market.
