Yeah but why run Alan wake any higher when the pssr is upscaling to make it look like 4k that extra power can be used for other things! But AW2 is renound for being a power hungry game! 4090 can't do 4k 60fps with ray tracing!
Yeah it's not about affording it! It's about justifying it for the small upgrade that was shown! Not to mention the lack of 1st party games! They went back to last of us 2 a over 4 year old PS4 game to give us a reason! It's pathetic! Sony are amateurs when it comes at promoting their products in the best way!
Yeah it's very niche and I could easily afford it and I would buy it if there was a good enough reason too, as of right now it has absolutely no games it's just not justifiable...
In a year or 2 when when they release games from ND sucker punch, bend studios, bluepoint and insomniac then it will be a different matter.
Due to the upper management getting things so wrong making massively bad decisions time and time again this was inevitable, for eg
Sony lost and will continue to lose billions on the bungie take over
Lost 100s of millions on concord will continue to lose 100s of millions on other upcoming live service games!
Last of us online was a massive hit financially!
Games are taking longer and costing more they are in a rut no real money coming in...
PS3 had blueray drive state of the art at the time that would have put an extra £100 on it alone
Ps5 pro no disk drive still wants £700 which is $900 absolutely madness.. no CPU upgrade at that better off with saving more and going pc at this point.

Most of there games is all quantity over quality.. it puts people off star wars for eg looks good had some great ideas but the main execution was done so poorly and the combat needs to be better! The same team that did the division games which had great combat and gameplay!
Skull and bones wow that should have been cancelled, AC Valhalla was a disaster in terms of the grind and how it felt so boring after 10 hours! Watchdogs was very poor

It was like this with Alan wake 2 DLSS is a life saver, I can imagine the 5090 without DLSS will give you the same performance of a 4090 with DLSS

Would love another battlefield 1 theme game ww2 in that meeting would have been amazing! BF1 atmosphere is unmatched!

It's not the fact that its £699 which is $915 it's the fact there is no bloody disks drive with it! So that another £100 its a joke!
