This gen has been 1080p @ 25/30fps on medium /High settings or
720/900p @ 60fps on medium/high.
They can up the memory to 12gb and get more bandwidth that will make it more desirable.
The only thing that worries me is that damn cpu you can put a gtx1080 in there it wouldnt make much difference with that cpu it will just bottleneck.
I hope they do something more with the cpu than just overclock it, thats the systems achilles heel.

Yes this sounds very legit, it will be interesting to see what date they will set for the ps4k if it's that underpowered compared to the Scorpio then they need to release it asap. If they release it March April next year then it will go up against the Scorpio.
If the rumored specs are to be true then they need to release it this year but they are cutting it short if they do.
You can only do these face -offs when you know exactly the specs of each system otherwise there is absolutely no point and it's wasting peoples time.

I hate it when journalists and people in general think because a new game advent is coming up (gamescom) that Rockstar will reveal their next project rdr3.
We all know it won't be revealed at gamescom or any other advent they will announce out of the blue and by their own doing that's Rockstars way.
They don't need big gaming advents to publicise and make there games more popular they can do whatever they want and take as much time as they wan...
With optimisation the Scorpio will be able to do 4K at 30fps on high with most games dont forget pc and consoles are different they can be optimised more efficiently and we have never had a console this powerful before.
I would prefer them to have 1080 or 1440/ 2k with 60fps everything on ultra settings.
Because it's on a different platform dosnt make it a new game haha, some people logic is way off.
Has soon as that game initially releases on any platform on that day it first comes out it's new and after that it's not.
Its like if a film came exclusively on blueray for a year then a year later it came on dvd is that film still new or is it a year old.
