It’s a nice piece of kit and if I didn’t have a PS4 I would probably get it, but it doesn’t make sense when the ps5 is around the corner.

These games should of probably been out by now.. if the Last of us part 2 hit the original release date back in February the ghost of Tsushima would of made it out this may or June at the latest... This has probably had a knock on affect not to show ps5 until at least one of these games is out..
I am not saying who’s is more powerful, I am just stating Sony went for a cheaper alternative than Microsoft on the GPU side. Sony knows what there doing there pedigree speaks for itself
The gpu in the XbsX will be massively expensive, that’s why Sony went with 36 CUs to cut the costs it just really depends how much Sony and Microsoft are willing to take a loss on each sold.
My guess $449 for ps5 and $499 for XBSX
Just imagine 10 teraflops of power 16gb of Gddr6 ram, RDNA 2 and ZEN 2 cpu What Sony first party devs can do with that much power. Your mind will be blown
No chance unless they want to take a $100 loss on each sold.. parts alone probably cost $500
The difference is these was all 3rd party titles that the last generation of consoles was the lead platform. What you will see at the ps5 reveal will be games solely developed on that hardware from scratch so they will look true next gen. Microsoft said they will start making games for Xbox sx only 2 years in to its life cycle so you will see massive differences then.
I think it will be closer next gen in terms of sales. I think Microsoft has up there game.

I just wish they went a different direction with the story but will get it regardless because I know it’s probably going to be the best game ever made on a technical level and because of that you need to praise naughtydog, they are very talented The story and direction is down to 2 people and they got it wrong and there is nothing we can do about it..
