God of war is supposed to be about a irredeemable asshole going to the end of the world, sacrificing anyone and everyone for destruction of those who wronged him. We are supposed to play as the bad guy, someone as detestable as the main antagonist, not somebody who seeks redemption and humanity :) Fuck that noise, give me more gods to kill and more revenge to fulfil !
And that is exactly what I don't want in God Of War.
My most hated moment in the entire GoW 3 is each and every moment with Pandora. And it seems this entire new game is THAT moment made into a full-lenght game.

Watching an old man bonding with his kid is just not GoW in my mind. I want a monster fighting monsters, not father and son fighting together... This is supposed to be God Of War, not The Last of Us...

This new GoW has the same camera view as TLO...
There is a gray spot on whether or not he died in the end of GoW 3, his body is missing in the end of the credit sequence and he still has the same "Spartan Rage". Yeah, that's definately the same character. But that's not a problem. What IS a problem is the setting, which doesn't make any sense, unless this GoW actually clarifies how the hell did the world go from being basically dead to okay again :D

I knew that Kratos will become some kind of mentor for somebody in the new instalment, that's basically the only character progression point he has left to go through, but a son is not what I had in mind... I just can't see a man who literally killed off the entire Greek patheon because of them refusing him forgiveness for his sins of killing his own family (spoilers, I guess) just settling down and having a new kid.

Sorry, I find it hard to believe... Depends on where this game starts, but let's just say that Omega Force is well known for making fighting regular enemies a bit more like cutting grass and by the end of the level you kill at least a few thousands of them... This kinda doesn't work well with Berserk, because Guts is not mowing down hundreds in one swing... Neither did Casca or Griffith (pre-betrayal, of course)
