Worst in the series. Not even an opinion, hard, bulletproof fact. MGS lived and died by it's story, the Far-Cryifyed watered down stealth doesn't make a good, quality, exciting MGS game.
What MGSV basically is is Mercenaries with stealth angle.
Which is at least a little bit depressing, because the game is just a endless grind with no likable villain, no build-up, no resolved story and just TWO (more like 1.5) acts, second of which consists almost entirely of missions from the first ones with difficulty upped.
There was no reason for MGSV to exist but that one little detail that could explain one single thing in main story's canon, everything else is a constant "heli-in, make a X amount of Y dissapear by the means ...
I consider myself a die-hard MGS. Diehard enough to even watch and play every single movie and game that are referred to have any influential connection to it.
And I despise MGSV. But I, unlike other people, really doubt that FucKonami will ever do justice by the series.
Making a good MGS game might not be that hard of a task compared to making a good Silent Hill game, but I highly doubt that FucKonami has any interest in even trying.
