Quality control isn't really needed anymore since we're past the era of glitches and long load times.
Really?? past the era? What games are you playing? Besides your idea of no quality control is unrealistic.So your telling me YOU would own a company and not want anyone overseeing that the products being produced by YOUR company were of good quality and something the consumer would invest and want to buy and make your company a profit??
Yes but there is also a think called quality control and the company can decide what games go onto there console and which ones don't. Nintendo accepted the shovel ware because if they didn't there would of been almost nothing on the Wii except There 1st party titles, no one wanted to dumb down every game just to port it over to Wii and have it look like ass and make a very small profit.

Nintendo is doing damage control right now and trying to put a good spin on everything they can. Since the launch of the Wii I have learned one thing with Nintendo. You have to read a lot into what Nintendo is saying or not saying, when there being vague its not a good thing. It usually means that they know what we want, but there not giving us what we want, that's why we have quotes like "We’re not completely getting rid of Friend Codes" that statement alone tells all of us that there are still friend codes.

Glad I played the demo first cuz I hated it. Just to boring for me.
The scans are from game informer I have this issue and some of the game pics do not look all that great, but if the game doesn't come out till next spring they have time to polish it up. the concept of the game is intriguing so I guess we will see about this one next year. My point is Nintendo and everyone else is hyping this thing to be more than what it is. The controller is just to distract everyone from realizing the new console is simply wii hardware brought up to HD.
which I'm fine with that just stop with the stupid gimmicks. Give me a regular controller, strong 3rd party support, get some 3rd party exclusives and have an actual online network and I will buy this thing.
The reason it matters for Wii U to be powerful is really simple. If the Wii U is not going to be comparable to the next gen of systems coming out, no one will want to port there games to Wii U and dumb them down to do so. Just like Wii they could completely lose 3rd party support. Oh and smashcrashbash I agree. "I can just hear 'It looks good for a Wii U game' already" LOL you are correct!
