Great review :) I am enjoying the game so much its hard to put down. I liked the 1st Dead Island and love Riptide, but I agree if you hated the original you will more than likely feel the same with Riptide

I know in the area i live in gamestop wont get more than a copy or 2 unless there's high demand for a product or pre-orders
So far nothing Wii U (console or games) are flying off the shelves here. Most PPl I know don't even know it exist.

I have to be honest and say that Nintendo Direct made me not want a Wii u even more than before, Nothing in there got me excited or interested in there new system. Don't get me wrong I'm not bashing, Nintendo is a great company and have wonderful 1st party titles that i will miss. They have just lost me since the Wii and I am having a hard time finding any reason to come back to Nintendo.

Wii U has 425,000 units sold first week . (2006) Wii has 476,000 units sold first week. Just for a comparison,its great that its available for the holiday shoppers, not having a shortage does not = terrible sales. All the trash talking in the world can't change numbers, (and no im not a fan boy i don't even want the Wii U) So in the end who cares... PPl who own the Wii U are having fun the one's that don't want it will not buy it and the world keeps turning :P
not without the proper software, if the Wii U disc fit in a regular drive then its only a matter of time before someone writes a program to read the Wii U disc, rip and burn them.
I bet you have to go into Wii mode to access the VC store. Also I think the rounded edges are simply because there proprietary disc so there needs to be a slight difference from regular disc.The drive will still play regular disc, otherwise the system would not play Wii games
The Wii did the same thing you had to boot to gamecube mode ( the gamecube disc were small) and it didnt stop piracy, you could also play everything off an external usb

everyone here knows about photoshop and other such tools for tweaking pics...right? i never trust these comparisons or the video ones either, just a few tweaks and i can make ps3 look like ass compared to N64 :P
