@BallsEye
Nice, I like the "Sony is easier to forgive" argument. I guess some companies just have that special something that makes you want to forgive them. Or maybe it's you that's saying all the bullsh!t, not Sony.
It makes you wonder why so many people like Sony.... There has to be a reason. Maybe all the Sony fans in the world got together with a plot to take over N4G and make Xbone fans upset.
It's one add! good lord, get off the couch and do some jumping jacks for 30 seconds....
over analyze much? The commercials sole purpose is to grab the audiences attention and to get them to look into the PS4.
I am getting one because the X1's games don't impress me, the PS4's do, bottom line. The commercial isn't for people who already know, it's for people who don't really know about it and to get their attention. It's badass imo.
Hellz yes, I love this damn game..
Does anyone know if there will be a stream of it anywhere, besides TV that is.
@ballsohard2013
"Whether it puts x1 on par or surpasses the ps4 remains to be seen."
In what way? The cloud offloading is for CPU only, so for some cpu calculations it can potentially help out. As far as actual graphics, the GPU processes will not be offloaded to the cloud. So the way the game looks will not be affected, the way it runs, yes potentially.
Make no mistake Sony will have plenty of server power also, two seperate cloud solutions...
Good thing PS4 has AAA blockbusters coming out at launch too. I prefer indies in many ways though.... There is something about those games like Journey and Flower that are so simple yet almost life changing they are so good.
I think Micro actually has a good idea in this, it is going to be good for them if it pans out... Sony will probably look at it seriously too, they could let devs offload some cpu tasks on openstack when that is up and running.
I don't think MS would lie about this, it probably can be done and they most likely can get it done. I am just interested in the details and to see it working in some way. It would actually be good for the future of gaming to not have to rely completely on hardware all the time.
Both Drive Club and Forza do look better than GT6. But it is just crazy how good GT looks even compared to next gen games. I can only imagine how great their PS4 games are going to look and play...
The detail in Drive Club is shockingly good, the night driving is perfect looking.
Those look fun, I love how much detail they put in everything.
I love that new controller design, made a great thing even better... looks great in color.
I'll be getting this day two, or possibly three...
or the hidden gpu...
My favorite game this gen for sure. People are still reviewing the thing... holy hell.
Online was a complete waste? It was my favorite mp this gen.... I had to sell the game because it was so addictive and I never got anything else done. God I loved it.
Besides the footage being in game engine, the devs said they are aiming for higher quality than that.... will be beautiful.
Good lord, Sony has had the camera since PS2, that would mean first for consoles... So how many damn times do people have to bring that up.
There are really no innovations at all for next gen between the two, name 1 thing that's new tech... just great hardware and games, that is what matters anyways.
SF is doing a lot more than those games from a technical persepective and pushing the hardware more. After seeing this new video can that really be argued anymore? Ryse has a lead character at 85k triangles... is that it's grand technical achievement?
I'm not trying to say those aren't great looking games too(Ryse looks especially good), but Killzone does stand ahead from a technical perspective, pretty clearly it would seem now.
The console didn't die!!! What part of that do people not understand. It wasn't ventilated, it immediately turned back on. Nobody needs to respond to anything, the console didn't die.
