Understand, I was off topic, but the only thing ever compared is character models it seems like.
Character models look better, how about a comparison of everything else? I think Ryse looks amazing, but I'm not convinced the game is more GPU demanding than Killzone SF. There are TONS of things to take into account. As far as character models though, the crown goes to Ryse easily.

I'm so glad they used the usual design. I love the thumbsticks positions, not a big fan of the xbox controllers.
It's funny how different they are treating the PS4 than the PS3. I'm not sure every GS was biased but it was all Xbox all last gen long at the GS I go to. They tried to sell me on the Xbox every time I bought a ps3 game, so annoying!

Killzone 2 is still one of my fav shooters, and the graphics are still stunning. I am way excited for Killzone SF.
I agree the network could be better, many games I have played had buggy multiplayer, like uncharted 2 and 3. I'm not sure if that's due to the network or what, but it was annoying (even though uncharted games are some of my favorite for multiplayer) plus the download times sucked horribly.
Sony is adding a new worldwide dedicated server structure with Openstack, that should solve many issues with speed and dedicated servers for games.
PS3 still going very strong, Vita getting better. 3DS is killing it!
That's why starfox 64, chrono trigger, goldeneye, ect.... are still some of my favorite games I have played. That's why I loved The Last of Us so much, it wasn't just a graphics show, it was a great game.
I don't think it will make a big difference for either console, both will make great looking games.
And when did you hear Sony running their mouths about specs? It seems to me the trend has been that devs are the ones speaking about sony's specs and Microsoft tries to counter what they say. Sony isn't getting involved.... good for them.

I agree to an extent, but I truly think it's ok to have some form of loyalty to a company that treats it's consumers well and with respect. I want to support that company.
Also I can't afford both consoles, and I don't even have that much time to play games....

Sony is moving ahead with it's TV offering, Viacom is just the first of many giant companies Sony is in talks with. And don't forget Sony is big in the TV game as well... MANY of the biggest campanies wish they could make the deal Sony is making.
Ps4 was always no 1 on amazon US, x1 never was, even the whole time ps4 was sold out x1 was never no 1. That tells me something about demand.
Damn, I can't decide anymore which looks better to me in killzone and Ryse. These are extremely impressive gifs. I have always liked Crytek, great job to them.

I would actually like to see a long playthrough of a level in Ryse vs one of Killzone SF. That would be a good judge of how the games compare imo. Not some screenshots and gifs. Not that I really care how they compare, both seem fun really. But that would be a good honest comparison.
