You kids make a big deal over this crap. I don't care if you want to talk while playing, I'd rather you all shut the hell up, unless you are playing as a team and that already works just fine. How can you immerse yourself in a game if you have a so called friend yapping in your ear? It isn't needed and the majority doesn't want it, so there isn't a rush.
If they want to add a couple of new towns, thats fine, but don't take away anything.
If you want to add a new weapon in, somewhere, fine as long as it does not take away from the story.
Give Vincent a little more back story , fine, give Cid and Barrett a little more, fine, give us a little more of Zack, Cloud and Sephiroth and a little less of Yuffie, fine, but do not take away the battle system, the towns, the world maps or the freaking HIGHWIND.
I can see the little troll counting his gold pieces. There should be no question about platform. If there is a FFVII remake, it should be exclusive to the PS3, but Wada is all about the money. I hate the fact the The Spirit Within was ever made and allowed Squaresoft to merge with Enix. Wada is waiting to see who will offer the most money. I hope that it's true that Sony owns partial rights to FFVII.

The PS3 is most certainly Backwards Compatible. Every PS unit has some form of BC other than PSOne. The current version of PS3 can play PSOne games, without having to download anything, all you need is the disks, so this is all crap

There was an announcement that there would be a Final Fantasy XIII bundle and the sales of current models drop, and this shocks people why??
The sales will continue on a steady pace, IMO and when the FF XIII bundle drops, there will be massive sales once again.

I downloaded the PSN version and it brought back a lot of memories, it truly was a blast from the past and the story could easily be brought up to date with all of the global warming topics that are going around.
I would love it, but I just don't see it happening.

For those of you who like things that go BOOM, you will love this game. Lots things blowing up, including planes and people. This trailer is pretty damned nice. I am ready for something else other than a shooter, since I have been playing Killzone 2 since it dropped, but I might get this when it comes out too.
