PS5 is the dude.
I can take or leave Series X tbh, but I AM interested in getting a Series S for gamepass in my spare room. No rush though. I'll probably get one next year. I have enough on PS5 to keep me busy right now
Exactly. I don't know about you but I don't go counting every pixel when I'm playing games
Was reading an article in Retro Gamer recently and they did a piece on the history of Timesplitters. There were hints that it could return at some point so I'm not surprised by this. But it will be interesting as it's the original team working on it
Was just reading about this in Retro Gamer.
Never been a big R-Type fan. Not really sure why because I do like side scrolling shooters but R-Type has never gelled with me. Might get Final 2 though, it does look very good.
Well why would they? If you put your games on rival formats you lose your platform's USP.
Xbox has never really had a USP because their games come to PC at the same time as Xbox, and if you're a PC gamer you have little incentive to buy an Xbox but with Sony a lot of their games stay on PlayStation, or at the very least arrive on PlayStation first, followed by PC a year or so later, by which point most people will have already played the game. The incentive to buy a...
Well, he would say that wouldn't he?
How long until he quits?
I have a PS5 and gaming PC so Series X isn't in my radar. At this point I'd be more inclined towards the Series S just for game pass, to stash in a spare room. Xbox to me will never be my main machine, as it's PlayStation that has the games I want so I wouldn't want to spend money on the SX just for it to be put in a spare room only to be used very occasionally
Western RPGs can't hold a candle to Japanese RPGs imo.
Xbox will never be the home of, nor be even close to being the best place to play RPGs. It's not a priority for Microsoft.
For me, the best consoles to play RPGs are SNES and PS1. For more modern goodness the Switch has a lot so probably deserves a mention as well. Xbox isn't even on the radar
There is, 667gb
Oodles of noodles in the poodles
I think the 90s was a better time to be a PC gamer myself. Then again the 90s was the most exciting time for gaming in general.
BTW I'm being facetious, I do know what you mean. I did give you an upvote
Well now
I'll believe it when I see it
Same! A game that came out nearly 8 years ago is still topping charts. Is there anyone who doesn't own the game at this point?
Amazing that a game that spans 3 console generations is still selling
It may be alive but it's on life support
Nah. They should reboot the Resistance franchise
Agree. Personally I would be happy with another Stardust but I don't like Roguelikes so Returnal didn't appeal. Looking forward to seeing what they do next though
