Exactly. It isn't anti-consumer. It's 1) Sony looking out for its PS4 112 million install base and giving them something extra. 2) Incentivizing others to consider buying a PS4.

Death Stranding is a game that I think everyone should try. The game's industry has become so predictable lately and long comes this game that does something so completely different. Anyone is free to say what they want about Kojima, but he's taking chances and trying to elevate the medium - and that's something that should be celebrated.

I disagree on the less "filler games" point. Publishers need to cultivate their relationships with developers of all shapes and sizes. Highlighting a few of the smaller scale games is a great way to help strengthen those relationships. I'm not saying this about you specifically but I get a sense that people go into these types of presentations expecting an hour of consecutive AAA first-party exclusives and one explosive announcement after the other. We've been watching these...
