You see this when you compare Turn 10 and Polyphony Digital. Turn 10 was and still is talking a massive amount of trash talk while Gran Turismo 5 isn't even out yet. They might be sorry if it comes out shining even more brightly than Forza 3, especially since Kaz and the rest of the guys there have a MUCH better outlook on games, as an art form, and proper business ethnics.
Is the camera panning, I think they intentionally made the camera pan that way and it looks like it's lagging or the framerate is skipping but since the character's animations and the water still moves well I doubt it's that. It could be the manner in which the camera is panning, I dunno. Either way I'm definitely getting this game!
Edit: I may just be jaded from all the shiney next-gen games that run at 60 FPS, who knows. This game looks great anyway!
The clause says "certain software refuses to run until the firmware update is downloaded and installed on the system" when we all know 3.01 is an optional firmware. FAIL
I laughed when I read this "it has the cheapest Blu-ray player on the market", because there are cheaper bluray players out there. Are they better or as reliable? Probably not.
Fanboys will continue to exist as long as there are competing game consoles. It's even worse now with a lot of the shady stuff going on with DLC and poor ports still happening, as well as third party exclusives becoming a thing of the past.
It's suggesting an interactive mode for movies where you can perform motions, whether it be with the Eye or with the coming Playstation wand (it hasn't really been specified) and throw tomatoes at on screen actors or kick them in the butt, and so on. I really hope they implement this online, in HOME perhaps, all so we have an equivelant of the XBL theater on the PSN. I'd love to sit in a theater with my friends online and discuss/talk about movies while we watch them, just like MST3K.
I'm really surprised, if they actually do this I would watch movies way too much, moreso than I already do now. This looks+sounds so awesome!
I won't post this to a game design forum I moderate because there's no actual source. I really wish when news like this gets posted and reposted across the gaming journalism network people would actually cite their sources to a credible source. Damn ametuers.

Demon's Souls is an amazing game and the guys at Atlus are definitely touting it around. I wish there was advertising for it, commercials and stuff. Both got pretty great scores, inFAMOUS is an amazing game but this really gets me excited for 3D Dot Game Heroes.
Only 40 minutes and you expected to get used to a controller you're not used to? It'll take longer than that. I've always preferred the dualshock controllers over any competition, though I get used to another controller if that console has games I want to play.
Am I the only person who prefers the PS controllers over the 360's? I absolutely hate the d-pad on the 360's controller, I still can't get used to it.

I don't think it's too fat, and I don't think the analog sticks are in awkward locations. I just HATE the d-pad. I don't think I've heard anyone say those two things about the 360 controller.

Usually the services available in each region vary on the demand and the availability. I'm not sure if Netflix is a USA only gig, here's hoping it'll go across the pond though. The same with Vidzone coming to the USA ;)
They would've been able to do dual-audio. Now that they're restricted to both platform's disc formats, we're stuck with the dub. I was really excited to hear Maaya Sakamoto is doing the voice for Lightning, now I'll never be able to hear her amazing voice unless I import the Japanese version. Since I don't know Japanese I'm screwed.

The online is free, in my opinion Sony's outlook with online gaming and everything related to it is: "Optional" whereas the 360 is completely catered to it. The thing is, you still get the same quality for free with the PSN. All we need is cross game chat/party system from the XMB and we're golden.
People who want to communicate with others will buy headsets and contribute to team play. I'd rather have this then what other posters are saying, i.e. new PS3 users yelling...
