I have no issue with Rigs, but I have been playing Oculus for a few months.
Yeah, how stupid of them to offer multiple products at a variety of different costs and features that appeal to different groups of people. That'll never work.
The Wii sold a crapton it was a huge success. It still sucked though.
Would it still be profitable with tracking that didn't suck?
I'll give you the fact that it's more comfortable, but you're way off on game quality. The only launch games that feels like real full fledged games are Rigs and Battlezone. Meanwhile Oculus has Project Cars Asetto Corsa Dirt Rally Elite Dangerous, Damaged Core The Climb etc.
Rigs is awesome though. I'm still glad I bought one, but they've got to do something about the awful tracking. It's borderline unacceptable.
I want it to be a handheld. If it plays games like the new Zelda portably that's great.
I expect them to.
I'm assuming it uses some kind of low power mobile GPU. There's been some pretty good advancements to that sort of thing lately.
Really? I had no problem with my Oculus. Perhaps you mean they aren't idiot friendly.
It's pretty good, but I like my Oculus better and the playable area for the camera is just horrible. I'm still glad I bought it though. Rigs is awesome and shows that you can have normal mobility in a game without making people sick.
It really is getting annoying. They shouldn't have announced it 17 years ago if they don't want to show it to anyone.
I'll probably buy one if it can play Breath of the Wild portably.
I really like Rush of Blood despite what the reviews say. It's like people aren't playing it for what it is. It's just a fun shooting gallery. It's not going to be scary or deep. I think it's fun and that's what's important.
It seems like I have to keep my head in a tiny area or it will say I'm out of the play area and if you look at your hands while holding the move controllers you can see them moving all over the place.
Elite Dangerous, Project Cars, Dirt Rally, Eve Valkyrie, Damaged Core, Lucky's Tale etc. The next wave of launch games are going to be the good ones though.
Whatever you say dude, I still bought one. Perhaps you should say found the person with honest criticism based on actually trying it.
The Vive's picture quality isn't as good and it's less comfortable also when the Oculus Touch controllers come out in December Oculus will have the superior controller. So maybe for now it's better just because of room scale and motion controls but those advantages will be gone soon.
It's pretty good, but my Oculus is much much better. If you can only get one and have a good PC I'd go with Oculus. The tracking and the playable area for the PSVR camera are just horrible, but there is almost no screen door effect.
That wasn't actually VR.
A player base is truly toxic when they make you sick when you eat them.
