I meant the XBOX Series S. Now I'm getting confused with the console versions.

I know it isn't quite the same situation, but remember the XBOX360 Arcade? I think the XBOX Series X will probably have a much better reception than that though. But does anyone think Sony will later come out with a PS5 Pro?

It would be nice if Sony/Insomniac would offer a free upgrade, but it sounds like wishful thinking and maybe an inflated sense of entitlement.

Hopefully lessons will be learned for the next generation console launch.

If you choose to buy digital then you will likely pay those prices, whereas buying physical might save you a few quid due to competition between retailers. It will certainly make me think seriously about whether to pre-order or just wait until a sale or the GOTY version.

Disintegration’s Multiplayer is set for disintegration.

Corporations joining the bandwagon is nothing new. They don't want the negative publicity from the vocal minority so they will distance themselves from anyone 'problematic', even if they worked with that person previously with seemingly no issues. This reeks of hypocrisy.

Does that mean PS5 owners won't be able to play Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro?

Hopefully Sony will present an in-depth look at the console at some point. They do seem to be doing things a little different from the PS4 launch.

People would be crazy to pay those prices for what is essentially a pre-order notice. It must be due to a bad case of FOMO and scalpers will prey on that.

As long as people continue to buy shark cards, GTA5 online isn't going away anytime soon.

They can always get the customers to buy Gamepass and PSN cards while they pick up the consoles.

I'm going to have to wait at least six months before getting a next-gen console. But, at least I'll still be able to enjoy Spider-Man MM and Horizon FW on my PS4.

I take it that if you own the PS4 version of Spider-Man, it will work on the PS5 via BC, but it won't be the enhanced version offered in the MM PS5: Ultimate Edition?

Good news for me then as I'll be getting the PS4 version.
