I got mine delivered today. GAME has not yet sold out of them. Perhaps because many people who bought TPP already own a PS4 and it isn't a holiday period?

With Forza 6, Halo 5 and Tomb Raider coming over the next few months, MS will certainly get a boost in sales (software and hardware). And they will also have the multiplatform titles as well.
Sony will also be releasing titles over this period and the major third-party marketing deals could also help.
Gamers on both sides will have lots to enjoy, and those who own both consoles will have the biggest reason to smile.

A big part of the success is the Playstation brand which has built up a fan base from the first console. Microsoft hasn't been able to match this outside of the US and UK, despite the wide reach and success of Xbox Live. The Last of Us remastered has the option of 30 or 60 fps. This could have been added for this game too. More work for the developers but a nice bonus for gamers who are new to the franchise as well as those returning to play it. I agree it isn't a necessity, but it would be a nice addition.
It will be interesting to see what Sony and Supermassive Games decide to do next with this, but I hope they can be even more creative with the game mechanics.

How is this information relevant to gamers? Shareholders maybe, but why should gamers care? MS got into the console gaming market to make money, because that is what corporations do.
